A self-sufficient hotel recommended for a long term stay. Closely located to Tanger Outlets in Pittsburgh, one can opt for a double bedded or a single queen bedded rooms depending on the No of guests. The rooms come with a kitchen, a store room, and basic amenities. The hotel has a free laundry service and a gym too. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Absolutely do not stay here. Go to the Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn less than a quarter mile away. This was my most disgusting hotel stay I’ve ever had. When you walk in the room you are hit with a gross musty BO smell. I put my stuff down and walk into the bathroom and am horrified by the lack of cleaning. I’m absolutely sure no one cleaned this bathroom from the last guest. There were hairs all over the counter and bathtub, toothpaste in the sink, splatter on the mirror and urine and fecal matter on the toilet in MULTIPLE PLACES! I bet the Comfort Inn next store would have been cleaner than this room! The front desk, Pam, was awful. So rude. As if I was bothering her by checking in. So many hotels to choose from in the area. Go to them instead.

Front desk people Janet, Nancy and Tammy could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave! lol. It was my first time staying at a Candlewood Suites, and it won’t be the last. The kitchenette was spotless and nearly as functional as a full kitchen. I definitely will consider Candlewood Suites over an Airbnb next time I take a a long or short trip. Free use of the laundry was a big plus, and the friendliness of the staff felt genuine and sincere. I had a great stay!

Our family of 2 adults, 2 children arrived after 10:30pm as we had a late flight into Pittsburgh and we just wanted to get to bed. The front desk attendant (didn't catch her name) couldn't have been more rude. I kindly gave my name and she told me my room wasn't a 2 double bed but a king and sofa bed. I said "no, my confirmation email says 2 beds." She sputtered something and acted like she just found my reservation and then said "Oh yes here it is." Ok, fine. I'll let that go. The next night we came back late again and she was working. I asked if we could get a few more bath towels for our family and she snarky replied "Well you know there is no housekeeping." I said, "I know that. I read the sign in the bathroom that said there wasn't housekeeping for stays less than 7 days, so thats why I'm coming to the desk to ask for towels as instructed by the sign in our bathroom" She then mumbled something about only having 3 towels to a room, and I said "Well I guess we got lucky getting 4." The other night desk worker was VERY kind and ran to get our towels and politely handed them to us. The morning we checked out the front desk was occupied by Nancy. AHH! Such a relief and breath of fresh air! She was OVER THE TOP kind to us and couldn't be more helpful. That other night desk worker needs a lesson in kindness.

I made my reservation weeks in advance, and has only one request: A first floor room. They gave me one on the second floor. FAIL. While the room was clean and well appointed, I was extremely disappointed that my reasonable request was ignored. Even the check-in clerk said, "Oh, I see your request but they assigned you a second floor room."
