Don't know why everybody is so happy when he left. We only can report the opposite. When arriving at 4:45 p.m. we called to come in a not very friendly Margaret told us we would have disturbed her nap. As we wanted to start early (at 8:00) to a tour in direction of the Rocky Mountain we've been informed: no breakfast before 9 a.m. There are a lot of more details and items to be claimed which do don't fit to the price of this accommodation. We don't know why the vistors before us found that the breakfast is phenomenal, we found it's below average. It is the most expensive accomadation during our 4 weeks trip through Canada and Vancouver Island (double costs as the second expensive one where we have been and there the breakfast was phenomenal compared to Ocean Breeze). Never again OCEAN BREEZE!!

Worse bed & breakfast we have ever been to. Owner was not friendly and very short on communications. Breakfast was bland and unappealing. Place was way overpriced! Won’t be back and would not recommend it to anyone!!, Room was very small and cramped.

A perfect location for North Vancouver, blocks from the Shipyard. Ferry to Downtown , and great view of Vancouver

Margaret serves great breakfasts - mushroom omelettes, blueberry pancakes! The room was great, luxurious but not precious, with a view of the bay and city.

Though initially it was not exactly what we thought it will be, the owner was very nice, the breakfast was great, the people staying there was also nice and the people in the neighborhood too. The owner also gave us a better room. Overall it was a very good experience.

Unique, charming, friendly. My partner & I enjoyed staying at the property with host Margaret who treated us like family. Clean and tidy with nice comfortable beds and views from balcony. Easy walk to local brewery and shops, about 12 min walk to the Seabus. This place makes a nice change from regular expensive hotels in Vancouver and will make for more interesting memories. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a very nice place to stay! Walkable to the harbor and many restaurants and breweries. I felt very safe in the area. Just know Vancouver is very hilly and this BnB has about 15 stairs to get to the house. Very welcoming host - made you feel right at home and very helpful.

The accommodation was fine. However, there were some problems. First. there were 49 steps to our room and no elevator or anyone to assist with our luggage. We are elderly and had a difficult time with all the steps so we just pulled items from the trunk of the car as needed. Secondly. the owner although pleasant was a mother hen. She constantly watched and commented on every step we made which made us uncomfortable. Lastly, breakfast was very crowded with no menu choices. Our stay was just okay at best

The room doesnt not match the regular standar. You pay a 4 stars room when you enter in a equivalent discrete road motel. Breakfast was extremly poor and lack of privacy. Floor was too noisy, the landlord living i the low level complained because of noise. The fact to go to the bathroom in a very small room cause noise when you step. Next time a will go to a good hotel
