Summer Nites

My husband and I recently stayed for the first time at Summer Nites in Wildwood NJ. It was such a great Bed and Breakfast and Shelia was amazing. She has a wonderful chef that cooks a great breakfast each morning and in the afternoon at 4, she makes Root Beer Floats, Milkshakes to order and serves hot pretzels. Each room has a different theme where you step back into the 1950’s. Breakfast is served in a 50’s style diner booth with a jukebox and later in the day the refreshments are also served here. Shelia supplies the quarters so you can select your favorite songs to listen too while enjoying breakfast and later in the afternoon refreshments. The outside hot tub was an enjoyable way to relax, and we truly enjoyed the front porch with the wicker rockers and the nice breeze. We found this to be an enjoyable stay –as we had family also staying in Wildwood nearby this time it was filled with more activity up on the boardwalk, our next trip at Summer Nites will be one full of relaxation. We stayed in the “Life is a Beach” room, it was very clean. Loved that there was a small refrigerator in the room. I do wish it had 2 chairs for sitting vs. 1. We are already planning our return visit for next April 2025. Shelia, along with all their staff, are kind and caring. Thank you all very much for a lovely stay. See you on our next stay. We had our son’s wedding party stay at Summer Nites bed-and-breakfast in May, and Sheila was the most amazing host! Everything was perfect- just as we hoped , and Sheila definitely went the extra mile to help us have a very special weekend! Dear Shelia and Rick   Thanks for a terrific stay over the July 4th weekend.   The inn is as described on the website – but better. Rooms are uniquely themed with the exact right touch of furnishings and memorabilia. My husband and I enjoyed the Hot tub, the bikes, the vintage black and white console TV in the lobby and those gorgeous mid-century lamps.  Bed was super comfy, the breakfasts and afternoon treats were wonderful. Super close to the beach.   You and your staff were most friendly and helpful. We will most certainly recommend you to anyone who is going your way, and you will see us again.     We thank you for your hospitality - you made us feel very much at home…

I got married and had a small wedding in May 2024. We had our guests stay at Summer Nites, and they all loved it. Each room had a distinct, amazing theme, and each was impeccably executed. (I recommend the 70s room, the one with the disco hot tub.) Plus, Sheila let us host the ceremony and brunch at the BnB. Suffice it to say, she went above and beyond as a host. I have been visiting the Jersey shore for almost three decades, and this is one of the best finds I have made in that time.

A great place, the rooms are decorated beautifully, breakfast was delicious, the best homemade banana bread, waffles, and 4pm root beer floats or milkshakes. Firepit in the back with hot tub. Great location can't wait to go back. Shelia is an amazing!!

The Summer Nites B+B is a wonderful choice to stay when visiting North Wildwood, New Jersey! The rooms are large and spacious with all the amenities you would need when traveling. The building has pretty curb appeal and an interesting history. It is centrally located within walking distance to the famous boardwalk. It has a beautiful and comfortable wrap around porch in which to sit and relax. There is a couple of hot tubs and a fire pit on the premises. The owners, Rick and Sheila are the kindest, most pleasant people you could meet! They will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable as possible! The rooms are decorated in all kinds of retro vibes, from Elvis to different eras of music, so you can relive the fun times of years gone by. Be sure not to miss the late afternoon refreshments! You will not leave hungry! The breakfast was super huge, hot, and delicious! Could not have been better! The hosts will go the extra mile with special touches like celebrating holidays and giving you a memento of your stay. Keurig coffee is available in the common area, as well as a full-size pool table! Vintage pinball games await on the lower level. There are jukeboxes so you can spin some good music in the “diner” breakfast area. We wish we had more time here but hope to visit again! The bed was comfy, and the shower was great! Good pressure, temperature, and drainage, which is important to us travelers! Once you stay even just for one day, you will feel like you’ve made a friend for life- that is you, Sheila! Thank you so much for making a quick, spontaneous weekend at the beach a memorable one! We smiled, laughed, talked and made the BEST memories!!! This was our very first time staying at a bed and breakfast and Summer Nites was the RIGHT choice. I was so impressed with the 50's theme with all the decor and details. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast and afternoon snack in the 50's themed diner listening to oldies on an authentic vintage jukebox. There are 8 different themed rooms including the Marilyn Monroe room where we stayed, which was mostly decorated in pink (my husband didn't mind as pink is his favorite color.. LOL) and photos and memorabilia of Ms. Monroe. The entire place was immaculately clean with private parking. The location is so convenient, only a few short blocks to the boardwalk. Sheila and Rick were wonderful hosts, making sure our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We can't say enough about Summer Nites. We already booked the 70's room, which has an authentic working disco ball, for next years' Fireman's Convention. Thank you, Sheila and Rick, see you next September!

Staying at Summer Nites is like staying with family. Sheila is the most dedicated innkeeper I have come across. The accommodations are top notch no matter which room you have and all the breakfasts will make you diet when you get home. Always freshly made with several choices.

But, oh. Those summer Nites! (Tell me more, tell me more....) My wife and I have never been to the Jersey Shore. I had booked a spot for Corvettes on the Boardwalk in Ocean City and needed a place to crash. But where? I found Summer Nites and from the pictures it looked like a beautiful seaside mansion. Sold! We arrived on Saturday night for a two night stay. Sheila greeted us and proudly showed us her home. The theme throughout the home is the fabulous 50's. We're shown into the kitchen and it is a beautiful recreation of a 50's style diner. Each booth has a few quarters to play the authentic jukebox loaded with, yep! 50s and 60s style records. I had that bad boy crankin' the Beach Boys and Frankie Valli. There is a working Coke machine (with dimes in a can) grab yourself a bottle anytime! There are two working hot tubs on the property and the front porch has rocking chairs to sit and relax. In the garage, Sheilas husband has his 57 Chevy waiting to cruise. Sheila & Rick are car people too?? Very very cool. Each morning we were greeted with an amazing breakfast. To start, a large fruit cup and freshly baked muffins were waiting for us. I poured myself a coffee as I was served a delicious homemade waffle and sausage. This has to be the best Bed & Breakfast I ever stayed at. Our room was the Marilyn Monroe room. Lots of Pink! When I walked into the room, I didn't know what to expect. My wife filled up the Jacuzzi and used the bath bomb in the water. After a 10 minute soak, I can understand why JFK kept Marilyn as his side piece. We checked out on Monday, we were the only guests in the B&B. Sheila sat with us and we talked about the future events at Summer Nites. Sheila, I can honestly say we had a great time and cannot wait to return next year.
