Don't forget about the freshest seafood you'll eat! Willis Wharf is home to several clam & oyster operations. There's no shortage of great places to eat- Liv's and Exmore Diner are a mile up the main road in Exmore, The Great Machipongo Clam Shack & Island House in Wachapreague are about 20 minutes away- up the road and down the road. Back down toward the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel is the booming town of Cape Charles- which boasts beautiful beaches, boutiques, restaurants, bars, Arnold Palmer Golf course, and some of the most grand old homes on the shore. Bring your boat to Duers Landing- we have a carport and plenty of parking for boat, trailer and trucks! There's a public boat ramp in Willis Wharf, one minute away, and many other public boat ramps on the sea and Chesapeake Bay sides- take your pick! Harborton, Melfa, Onancock are all close and give you opportunities to explore different areas of the Chesapeake Bay by boat.
