We have just stayed at your B&B this weekend checked in on the 5th, checked out today the 7th January. Before booking I looked at pictures of the property and rooms, they looked nice, this is the reason why I picked it, but to my surprise the pictures online did not look like the room we had??? The blinds were falling apart, there was a mountain of cigarette butt's outside the window, the window locks were not attached so you could open them as wide as you wanted H&S issue. The lights in the main room only one worked with no shade and the other had stains all over the shade? We only had 2 towels for 3 people and when I asked for another I was given a stained one. Half a toilet roll. No hanging space. The shower was cold even if fully turned to the hot setting. Under the sink all the electrics were showing for heat pump for the hot water H&S issue. No fire information anywhere in the room or hallway (incase of fire). Did not know where the fire assembly point was?? Blood in the shower room. I did speak to the young lad on receipt on arrival about parking and all questions I ask he just said "I don't know" . So with regards to talking to him about the room in my opinion was a pointless exercise. I did ask who was the owner or if he had a contact email or number, he told me he had no cards and there were numbers on the door. Very poor general decoration all round. Think someone needs to do a risk assessment?

Advertisement said bed and breakfast. No longer a bed and breakfast … only a bed. Such a shame Room was clean and bed comfortable. Room was at the front a bit noisy from the road Noisy from the room above, very heavy footsteps

The linen seems clean but cobwebs all over the ceiling and kick boards disgusting. Sink and shower pretty dirty. Can only get limited hot water early in Morning freezing in the evening. It was a convenient location so took a chance but won’t be back.

Do not go here. First and last time. It seemed like a half way house/bail hostel. Cheap furniture that was broken or had torn fabric. Only one socket so had to plug kettle in placed on the floor. Quite disgraceful. Manager very rude. They had a plumbing/drain issue which we we informed of by the manager who appologised and was initially pleasant. He asked if we could delay our arrival then asked if he could find us another hotel. We said yes to both requests then he took an online deposit off me then rang again to say problem was sorted but was giving us a different room!! Our bathroom stank..it was too late to change hotels late in the evening so we used the bathroom as little as possible. I spoke to the manager on the phone the next morning to say there was still a plumbing/drain issue and asked for some money back as we had not been able to use the shower and were holding our breath to enter the bathroom. Manager rudely interupted me and shouted over me. He said he would come and check the bathroom. We waited and waited..he did not turn up or ring or refund any money. Unprofessional, rude man. Do not stay here. I should have read the reviews before i booked..silly me. This place is like a DSS doss house.
