The Spa at Norwich Inn

We always have a lovely time staying at the inn and enjoying a spa day. This trip felt a little more. The hotel staff were lovely and attentive. Spa reception was on point. Some of the spa service technicians weren’t as warm as I remember. In their defense, it was the busiest I have ever seen them.

Would of been better if i did not have to leave early was supose to stay to sunday march 16 th but ended up leaving at 4:30 am march 15 do tobwaking up to severe pain in my side so i headed home to go to my doctor sucks i lost a whole night and day wirth of stay that i oayed for but oh well the time i was there was great

DO NOT go here expecting to use “the hot tub “ (as stated on their website there was only one). My husband and I had been having a rough time so we decided to go for a treat. We usually stay at less expensive places but were looking forward to a nice place where we could relax and sit in the hot tub and then do some 5 cent slots. When we got there, the hotel told us that there are only separate women’s and men’s hot tubs in the locker rooms. So I told them that that wasn’t what was on the site and asked for a refund. They told me to call ******* so I did. When ******* called them to get permission to do the refund, the hotel wouldn’t do it. They just kept telling me that we could use the pool. Then they told me that the manager wasn’t there and would be in the following morning (Monday) and to have ******* call then. When they called the next day, they were told that the managers were only there on the weekends. Cleary they have no intention of issuing the refund and are playing games with *******.

I've been to the spa many times. I have suggested some things that have come true, and I'm so glad about that. For instance the mini fridges in the room and the coffee machines are very welcome additions. Sometimes people have medications that need to be refrigerated. A couple of things could be improved. Please fix the fireplace in ascot pub. It's kind of ridiculous that I haven't been there in many months and the fireplace is still broken. I heard that it was an expensive fix but at the very least put a gas insert in there to make it not look so dark and cold. Also, in the bathroom of my room 06, the close-up mirror is absolutely unusablebecause it's placed too far away from a person's face when they are trying to look close up. It's absolutely unusable. Those should be closer so that you can actually draw it forward and see yourself in the close-up side. There was a recumbent bike in the gym that was broken and that's the kind of bike I like to use so it was disappointed about that. Hopefully that will be fixed by the next time. They used to be small towels in the gym and maybe you were out but there were no towels there at all. Also in the gym the cleaning wipes were depleted in the paper towel dispenser and there weren't any wipes coming out of the dispenser on the wall near the weights. The gym could be slightly cooler, too.

I really like how nice and helpful the staff is. It’s clean and I felt relaxed throughout the time I would definitely recommend and plan to do another trip in future.

This was an amazing stay! I have been for services before but never stayed, especially on the holiday! Wow. I cannot say enough about it and hope I can return very soon.
