The Nomadic Hotel

We stayed 4 nights here and by the end of our trip were hugging the staff goodbye…we were treated like family. Also due to the intimate setting of the hotel we got to know other guests staying at the hotel which was a super fun experience. Thank you to Israel, Anthony, Levi, Synthia, and everyone else including the cleaning staff and night security. Was a one of a kind experience and as a side note we got so lucky with the weather during our stay - they helped us make reservations for dinner / plan logistics. Looking forward to staying there again soon!

The hotel has a an intimate and boutique vibe. It's extremely well decorated, the food is delicious and the service is top notch. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, and the entire team was always there to answer any questions or assist in any way they can. Credit to Israel, Anthony and the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Credit to Lauren, the in-house yoga instructor for great classes. I highly recommend this hotel for any family, couple, or friends retreat to Nosara.

Horrible hotel. I felt like I was in college staying in the dorm. The rooms are so tiny. The bathroom is practically nonexistent. They won’t give you any towels. They won’t let you take the towels to the beach if they do give you a towel. The manager acted like I was lying when I told her that our room had not been made up, the swimming pool is tiny and dirty. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Gilded iguana, which is beautiful with huge spacious rooms and great food. On the plus side, the bar was very nice and the bartenders were also very nice

Would love to stay here again if I come back to Nosara. Was really beautifully finished with a modern and clean aesthetic. Stayed in the dorm and it didn’t feel small or cramped but a really great way to meet other solo travellers. Food was amazing! Location great, too. Yoga in the high season was a lovely addition too

A lot of room for improvement. First off. Beautiful hotel. Small but stunning building. Very small. Gorgeous yoga area. Cute little pool. Daughter is a teen but wouldn’t want to stay here with young kids. Pool would be boring for them and rooms aren’t super quiet, it would be uncomfortable to have young kids in such a small peaceful setting. Sadly upon check in the woman was not friendly nor very helpful. Nowhere to store luggage while room wasnt ready. Power and therefore water was out and no offer for any waters. I felt like I was putting her out with simple questions. Another reviewer nailed it on the head. 5 star hotel with a hostel like experience. No beach towels (they are quick to point out they would charge you if you used their towels). No laundry service or self laundry (we were only half way thru trip and needed to do a quick load). Not close to beach (nothing is as its a Blue Zone, but still not close at all). I will give credit to both bartenders. Friendly and lovely. This place would be perfect if some simple gestures were extended like beach towels or even towel or chair rentals! Or even hey heres a free beer or juice while you wait for power to come back on. Or even a super friendly staff at desk to make you feel welcome. Also she was clear she is only here 8-5, so pretty much if you get locked out of your room (you get ONE key only she said lol) you are SOL lol. Ahhhhhh I think ill try another place next stay!!! Also my rate was several hundred per night so dont feel like I am thinking unreasonably! Also please clean your pation chaises, gross!

We had a wonderful stay at the Nomadic hotel!! We only have great things to say. The room was comfortable and clean, the food was delicious (it's 100% organic!!), the staff was friendly and professional... They also have a super nice and relaxing pool (bonus for being partly shaded), free yoga classes daily, and bikes that you can use. The hotel is gorgeous, the atmosphere is great, and excellent location. It's very close the the beach where we surfed every day! We 100% recommend and will stay here when we come back! Gracias!!
