Socialtel Nosara - Formerly Selina Nosara

I stayed at Sociatel Nosara in January and was extremely disappointed with the experience. One of the main reasons I chose this place was because it had a communal kitchen, but during my stay, they suddenly closed the kitchen and removed all my food without prior notice. This was very frustrating, and as a result, I decided to leave early. I requested a refund for the remaining days of my stay, and they initially agreed. However, it's been three months, and despite multiple attempts to contact them, I have yet to receive a response or my refund. Their lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. Additionally, it seems like they are no longer operating as a hostel, which they did not communicate clearly. It feels like they are promoting false advertising and failing to honor their commitments. I’m truly disappointed and would not recommend staying here.

Perfect resort for a Jiu Jitsu Retreat! Great location, nice staff and relaxing environment . Plus the Latin dance 🕺🏽💃🏻class was so much fun. December weather was not super hot and minimal rain. Highly recommended for business or pleasure.

Totally abandoned. It’s low season but the place is falling apart. No coffee in the morning in the entire property if you can imagine that. Broken lights and dilapidated feel in general. Lots of mold and dust. Parking was weird with no signage and gives you the impression your in the wrong place.

Was here for the salsa even and my girlfriend order a Margarita for $10 and they serve her the worse margarita ever. But honestly i don’t know why i was expecting something better if cocktail here really suck, #respecfully come on, y’all have money, do better

Salsa knight was a blast! My friends and I didn’t know a single step and went in blind. The guy hosting/dj, Yelle, was super patient and helpful, as we stumbled all over ourselves. Highly recommend this!

I had a great time at the Wednesday night salsa class at this Selina. Yelle was a really good teacher and taught all the dance steps very well. He made the class fun and inviting even for first-timers. You can tell from learning from him that he knows his stuff. I’d definitely come back for the salsa night. It was a lot of fun!
