Olas Verdes Hotel

Lovely little hotel: the staff was very attentive and caring and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef! We enjoyed the salt water pool and the wildlife around us. Very special to see iguanas and monkeys first thing in the morning. The hotel has what many others lack: character and pura vida vibes!

Spectacular hotel with very friendly and professional staff, always smiling and attentive to serve, we highly recommend this hotel. You can see that the hotel was really designed with the guests in mind and that is much appreciated. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms, filled with details, and a restaurant with good food. Our room had fantastic views to the beautiful outdoor pools which we loved and also, from it we could see monkeys and listed to the birds, while the new days started. The hotel is just a few steps away from Playa Guiones and very close to restaurants and shops. We had a great time, we loved the hotel which was perfect to enjoy the magical vibe of Nosara, and we were happy to have stayed at Olas Verdes. Thank you!!!!

We spent a great time at Olas Verdes. The staff took care of all our needs with a smile. The chef made a desert specifically for us because we wanted to have a desert with passion fruit. Olas Verdes is a boutique hotel were the guests have all the care they are looking for. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful, welcoming hotel. Staff was super helpful, room was beautiful, Spacious and clean. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Meals were well prepared. I love the environmental and sustainable features. I highly recommend a stay at Olas Verdes if you’re visiting Nosara.

Olas Verdes Hotel was difficult to get to (the roads are a mess!) but definitely a lovely place to stay. Our suite included a living/dining/kitchen area with a small balcony overlooking the free-form pool. We had a queen bed and a spacious bathroom. We were greeted with a welcome fruit cocktail and there were two lovely travel cups as well as cookies waiting for us in our room. Everything you need is provided for you: beach towels, boogie boards, fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster oven. The restaurant on site serves a variety of dishes and there was live entertainment during dinner. The beach is a 5 min. walk away. The location is right in the jungle and wonderfully quiet. Highly recommend.

We struck gold when we found Olas Verdes! We were able to have an extended stay at Olas Verdes and were treated so kindly and professionally by everyone - from the smallest of things to the biggest - they responded quickly and respectfully to every need. Everyone is friendly and willing to help, greet us, help us, and all of that with a pura vida spirit. The location is phenomenal with a couple of minute walk down a path to the beach. The restaurant at Olas Verdes, El Manglar, is also excellent with a great menu, great staff, and delicious food - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We came to love, not only our space at Olas Verdes, but the entire staff. We will be back!

What an outstanding hotel!! Absolutely great staff. Each staff member was helpful, friendly and incredibly professional. Any questions we had were quickly answered. We were blown away by the customer service provided. What a great staff! What a great hotel! Our stay at Olas Verdes far exceeded our expectations.

Private hotel where you are surrounded by wonderful green jungle plants at every turn. The staff at this hotel are so wonderful. The front desk team, restaurant team and grounds team all went out their way to ensure our family of 4 had the trip of a lifetime! Isabelle, Inez and the rest of the front desk team worked hard to book us on multiple excursions even when we changed our mind or wanted to book last minute. Bryan, Jo and the team at El Manglar made sure we were well fed and at the most delicious meals. They took the time to interact with our daughters and were just so pleasant. JP from the grounds team even came running after us on the path to the beach with an extra boogie board one day when we left with one less than we needed The daily laundry service is a huge bonus too we did not think we would use it much but loved it and used it daily! The pool is very well designed and larger than the photos make it. More often than not we were the only ones in the pool, but on the days another family was also out for a swim the set up allows it function like 3 private sections. Book this hotel now! It is on the south side of Guiones which is the quiet side. You will not regret it.

We found Nosara and this amazing hotel as we were looking for day camp options for our 6 year old, so I could work remotely for a week to extend our time in beautiful Costa Rica. This hotel was wonderful in all regards, - extremely helpful stuff, delicious food, comfortable room with a separate living area and a kitchenette, beautiful grounds and a short trail to the beach. We traveled in June/July and you definitely need a 4x4 to get through a bad stretch of road with huge pot holes. Avoid driving in the dark.
