Tudor Lodge Hotel

Comfortable, budget hotel on the western outskirts of Nottingham. Buses run into town every few minutes from just outside the front door. Room was plenty big enough and was clean and functional. Breakfast was great - better than some more expensive places I've stayed. Would stay again.

Stayed here when attending a day festival at Wollerton Hall. Super little hotel with friendly staff. Small car park and lovely garden to sit in, if the weather is nice. The breakfast room was lovely, and the full English went down a treat! Great value for a twin room! Would stay again.

LOCATION - easy to find and not too far from the city centre. Has a bus stop literally just outside so you don't have to pay the exorbitant parking fees if you want to venture into the city. AMBIENCE - very nicely decorated throughout, with an interesting 'Mod' theme in the dining room. Our room (2) was spotlessly clean, excellently presented with tv, tea/coffee facilities, iron, hairdryer and fan/heater. The ensuite was nicely decorated, with excellent facilities. BREAKFAST - a perfectly-cooked F.E.B. STAFF - the lady who checked us and and made our breakfast couldn't have been more helpful, pleasant and professional. NEGATIVES - doesn't distract from a well-deserved five stars, but the toilet seat and lid in the ensuite was loose. The curtains could do with adding a good few inches to the bottom, as the outside street lighting shone under the curtains onto where your heads lay on the bed. Also, room 2 (and possibly others) face on to a busy road, so can be noisy. Neither the light nor the noise bothered me (a city boy) but did cause a little disturbance to my wife (a country girl). OVERALL - a very comfortable stay and will definitely stay again the next time we're in Nottingham.

Lovely little hotel with professional, friendly staff who are very attentive and hospitable. Clean rooms, lovely decoration and I really enjoyed the mod collection, I am a huge fan of The Jam, The Who and The Beatles, so I felt really at home. The breakfast was fantastic with orange juice and toast a plenty. I can and do highly recommend this lovely hotel, great location also to explore Nottingham, if we return to the area I would book here again

We stayed here for one night as we were going to a party nearby. Lovely welcome from the owner, couldn't do enough to make our stay a good one. Comfortable room with everything we could want. Lovely breakfast the following morning. Would recommend.

Easy to find off the busy main road and plenty of parking. Very welcoming, clean, tidy room, spacious enough and an excellent shower. Super location for exploring Wollaton Hall, Bolsover and Hardwick Hall. Eateries and shop across the road and to top everything two excellent, delicious fresh cooked breakfasts for the two nights here. Very friendly staff.
