Premier Inn Nottingham Castle Marina

Stayed at castle marina and it was an amazing experience receptionist Aleena was so lovely and welcoming she helped me get a taxi and gave me directions on how to get to places she also recommend a really nice restaurant that me and my colleagues went to overall lovely place to stay rooms were clean.

Great service by Lizzie on reception and during breakfast. She looked after us all on our arrival dealing with all our many questions and requests. We needed help with an accessible room and this was dealt with well. Thanks again for your help Lizzie :)

Shazeen and the team were great as always, make you feel welcome and valued. I am always made to feel welcome and as a regular guest they know my name and can predict what I may want to order. Always a smile to greet you, people make the difference. Keep up the good work!

What a great service supplied by “shazeen”, polite, professional. Attention to detail, second to none. This young lady will go far, 5 stars all the way - excellent !!. Could not do better, excllent delivery and attention to detail. Its this that makes the Prem Inn a great experience 💕

This was the worst place we have had the misfortune of staying at. The room was not fit for purpose. No tv remote, door didn't lock, bath was blocked up and filled even without a plug causing a h&s risk to slipping in the shower. The attempt to resolve this previously was obviously throw load of bleach into it as the whole room stunk of it. Despite eventually getting moved they had checked another family into it by the morning and couldn't retrieve my lost property. Breakfast was not edible and took 30 minutes to arrive whilst still missing items that took a further 10 minutes. The poor quality of food was explained to me as supplier issues. There was no gluten free options and extremely limited options of food. Save yourself the stress and go next door to the holiday inn.

Firstly I have to say this poor review is because staff in attached Premier Inn restaurant. The Premier Inn hotel staff and actual stay in the hotel were good. I had 2 meals in the restaurant evening and breakfast, I don't think in all my time I have ever met staff so disinterested in their job or the customers they are serving. At breakfast ( Weds 11th 0715) there was 3 staff working.... Sorry let me correct that there was 3 staff present. 1 in the kitchen and the other 2 stood talking to the other colleague in the kitchen. My food was served without a word being spoken and for the 30 mins I was in the restaurant they didn't stop talking once. I manage to walk past all 3 and out of the door without being acknowledged and one of these colleagues was clearly a member of management. At the time I was in the restaurant there was 3 yes three customers, so I wasnt as though they were busy. All I can say is if you do eat in the restaurant don't expect anything other than a shocking level of service. I can only hope a member of management reads this and takes time to explain to the staff that without customers there is NO JOB.
