Iberostar Waves Royal Andalus

Very nice resort for short holiday , nice beach and view

We stayed at Iberostar Waves between the 13th and 16th February 2025. The hotel entertainment was fantastic, the entertainment team were equally as good. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds really comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic with a great and varied variety of delicious food from Breakfast through to Dinner. An absolute big thanks to Juanfran (Frank) Estrada and Peinado the front of house staff in the restaurant who were absolute gentlemen and made us feel so welcome with their top notch service throughout. Will definitely come again.

My partner, son and I had a wonderful week at The Royal Andalus. Pros- Lovely room-We had a sea view room and had requested a quiet room. I’d seen other reviews about some people being given rooms right by the entertainment and I can imagine this would generally be a noisy area. Request a room at the end of the corridor and over looking the smaller pool on the other side of the hotel if you appreciate peace and quiet. The view was beautiful. If I was to stay again I’d pay more for a beach front room. The hotel in general is clean and well looked after. The food was varied and of a good quality. We weren’t hungry the whole week! Most of the staff were friendly and our son loved the evening entertainment. The kid pools were great for our little boy- at the start of the week when the weather hadn’t been that good before we got there, the pools were a little cold but by the afternoon of all the other days they were warm enough. The quieter pool round the other side is nice if you fancied a more relaxed atmosphere. Cons- There weren’t really any cons but by the end of the week the hotel was really busy so getting a sun lounger could be a bit tricky. It was the classic situation where beds would be empty most of the day with towels left on them- they said that towels would be removed after 45 minutes but this was never enforced. We ended up just going down to the beach a lot which is beautiful and perfect for little ones to play on. All in all it’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful location for a family holiday.
