Hotels JoJos

We got Room #201 during the last week of January for just one night. The room category was - Deluxe King Room with Lake View. Here's the summary of what we liked and didn't: Positives ✅ Location – Close to the main city with tons of restaurants nearby. They even said Pizza Hut delivers right to the hotel! Some attractions were nearby too; we drove to the Nuwara post office in like 5 minutes. ✅ The Room – Clean room and bathroom, although the towels could've been fluffier. They had a lighted mirror in the bathroom, a mini-fridge (empty, though), a big closet, and a kettle for hot water. The room was also well-lit. ✅ Breakfast – Breakfast was simple but tasty. We had eggs, dosas with sambhar, cut fruit, coffee, and hot water. ✅ Wi-Fi – Worked great. We didn't even bother with the TV. ✅ The Staff – Super welcoming and friendly. They were all smiles the whole time, helped us out with everything, and even recommended some Indian restaurants. They also brought us an extra blanket right away when we got chilly at night. ✅ Seating and dining area on 1st floor – They have a massive area in front of the rooms with sofas, tables, and a TV. We didn't really use it since we were just a family of 3 with a toddler, but it'd be perfect for groups to hang out, eat, or play games. Negatives No restaurant in the hotel. They only serve breakfast. Final Verdict All in all, it was a fantastic budget stay for one night.

Great service at the Hotel Jojo with the staff making us a packed lunch for our hike on Horton Plains. Lovely hot shower up here in the hills where it’s a lot cooler. Also lots of help with baggage and advice on places to eat out. A good value friendly place.
