I spent a day at Hotel Ashford in Nuwara Eliya during my Sri Lankan sojourn. The hotel's remote location from the town center was offset by its convenient proximity to Sitha Amman Kovil. Regrettably, the rooms were compact and featured dated furnishings that detracted from comfort. Additionally, bathrooms necessitated improvement in hygiene and layout, lacking complimentary toiletries. A highlight was the dinner service, which met expectations with its varied Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine offerings. Breakfast options, although limited, were sufficient. The staff's exceptional courtesy and warmth were commendable, while the restaurant and common areas boasted spectacular views.

Stay was extremely comfortable. Food was good. The view from the room is awesome. Though they could make sure they do keep the items listed on the board/menu are available. I asked for cappuccino, and it wasn't available even though it was written on the menu board.

A very beautiful hotel situated in a scenic place with good rooms and kind staff. The restaurant looks so nice and premium but I felt the food could have been with better taste despite having many varieties. The rooms are big and the service is really great. Sudan and Nidhushika took good care of us with great hospitality. I strongly recommend Hotel Ashford to ppl visiting Nuwara Eliya. Also it's situated very close to Sita Amman Temple, a popular tourist attraction.

We family and friends ( 22 people) traveled to Sri lanka. We visited 11 places before arriving Nuwara Eliya. Our tour agent Seylon tour placed us in Hotel Ashford. Of all the places we stayed, this hotel stand FIRST in all aspect. Rooms are clean. Good internet connection. Good food and the dining area is huge and very comfortable. the STAFFS are friendly and helpful. Overall i would rate this hotel as the BEST so far.

Food was excellent and staff were very cooperative There was bit cold so they provide good heaters Overall expierence is excellent and my family enjoyed a lot. It was my first expierence and tour guide Mr Viraj was so kind and helpful. He selected the hotel for me

It’s a good stay but the restaurant manager behaviour is worst ….and they have an untidy maintenance of restaurant stuff as in photo…foul smell around the room due to unwashed plates been placed in front of my rooms.I will rate the overall experience as avarage…I hope they take action on bad behaviour of restaurant manager

Soo basically I visited this hotel as a school trip & my experience was great with delicious food offered by the hotel & even a kind staff. Soo if you are planning to come Sri Lanka you need to visit this✌️ we were not having fans or AC cause it was cold out but provided with a born fire
