Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport by IHG

Check in started at 3:00. We weren’t able to check in until way past 5:00. The front desk was very sassy to my fiancé and I. Looking to get a discount.

Absolutely unacceptable. We arrived at check in and were told that our room was not ready. It was hours until we were able to finally check in. The room was not clean for how long it took them to clean it. They told us it would only be a few minutes when in reality we waited hours. Just pathetic. No professionalism nor apologies. The hotel is in a nice area though.

Summer stay The room wasn't ready upon check in but the customer service was great. Incredible service from Chuck and Ed sold us on the stay - the friendliness of the staff is something not easy to find, but was found here.

Paid for two included breakfasts they made me aware in line at breakfast with a full plate in my hand I need to pay for the food I already paid for in my 4 adult room 2 breakfasts were included. On top of that the original room had no working ac it was over 80 degrees in the room the lady at the front desk moved our room for us and made it better but the breakfast thing and not being comped for the having to move rooms was good enough reason to never come here again.

All of the workers I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Without a car, food options were extremely limited. Shower drain was awful with about 5 inches of water in the tub by the end of shower. There was a major humidity problem. I put clothes in closet and they became damp. I had to wear damp clothes to the airport. Surfaces in room felt damp, too. Worst part was the airport shuttle. When I arrived on 8/9, II signed up for 4 am shuttle departure (I was told by desk person that MKE TSA check doesn't open until 4 am) on 8/11. I went out to the shuttle at 3:45 am and it was full. If I had to wait for it to come back, I would likely miss my 5:15 flight. If the list was full, they should have added another time - I would have gone at 3:30! Thankfully, one group of people said they would wait for the next shuttle because their flight was later, but the hotel staff had no help to offer. I even checked at the desk last night to make sure I was on the list for 4:00 am. At that time, they said there was another party on the list, so I think they had people trying to go who hadn't sighed up ahead of time. Anyhow, just VERY frustrating, so make sure you plan the shuttle a bit earlier than necessary.

Great room, staff was very friendly, door cards were glitchy but they gave us new ones right away. And we had an issue with a smell in our room and they moved us with no issues.
