This Michelin rated restaurant was everything one hoped for. Excellent view from rooftop seating to delicious and plentiful food. From appetizers to desserts all with an incredible budget friendly bill. Squash blossoms to Milan’s beyond the food was out of this world. Highly recommend.

This hotel is a peaceful haven in the middle of bustling Oaxaca. With a delightful patio bar/restaurant and a small pool to cool off in, it has everything. Our room was a suite which had a separate access to the pool as well as bedroom and sitting areas. What a treat!

When I think about our stay at Casa Oaxaca, I think of a high standard of service and quality of experience. Everything was before we arrived, and our overall stay was excellent. The staff at Casa Oaxaca Hotel is beyond incredible, including Dennis, Pedro, and more! We had a large, beautiful suite and superb breakfast meals each morning, and the inn was a terrific place to stay during Day of the Dead celebrations. We can't wait to go back and do it all again.

Our 9th time at this oasis of peace and comfort. We are treated as family and most of the staff had been here for years. The property is beautiful, especially the gorgeous pool area and courtyard. Food is amazing. We were lucky enough to do a cooking class and market tour with Chef Alejandro, a master of using local ingredients to create unbelievable creative and tasty food. We look forward to our next visit.

Casa Oaxaca is a gem of an inn! There are so many reasons why we are so glad we stayed here and we're already planning on our return. Here's why we loved Casa Oaxaca: -Service: The Casa Oaxaca Team is top notch in professionalism, friendly service and just fantastic hospitality. Augustin, the manager, was so helpful and kind when we needed help, the front desk staff is friendly and responsive. Special shoutout to our friend, Pedro, who made fantastic spicy mezcal drinks with his secret recipe salt and who also took such good care of us when we dined at La Ventana, the hotel restaurant for dinner. Pedro is the best! -Accommodations: Our room (#3) was just off the gorgeous open-air central patio and the back of our room looked out into the pool area. It was the perfect room, quiet, very clean, bright, great shower, comfortable king bed and beautiful artwork. And the service staff brought in plenty of towels, toiletries, and most appreciated, stunning bouquets of fresh flowers for our sitting area and bathroom!! These touches make all the difference. The building itself is classic but contemporary, simple and elegant with lots of light, art and places to relax, including a very nice smallish pool. Plus it's conveniently located and close to the city center, zocalo and markets! -The Food: The breakfasts (included) are simply divine! A good size menu so lots of options to choose from and its table service, so you can relax with your great cup of cafe, enjoy the changing daily home-made breakfast bread and jam while waiting for your generous, delicious breakfast. Service is friendly and prompt. While not included, don't miss having dinner at the hotel restaurant, La Ventana. Chef Ruiz is a talented, inventive and creatively thoughtful chef! We enjoyed his cuisine tremendously and could tell he uses fresh, organic produce from their farm. From prawns and lamb with mole to fish tacos and posole - everything was fresh, beautifully prepared and tasty!! We actually enjoyed our dinner at La Ventana more than the dinner we had at Casa Oaxaca El Restaurante...which is highly ranked! Service, food and ambiance at La Ventana was hands down better (plus, bonus, less expensive)! If you are visiting Oaxaca City, don't hesitate one iota, Casa Oaxaca is the best place to stay! BEDS WERE SO COMFORTABLE; HAD A PRIVATE POOL; THE POOLS WERE PERFECT. THEY WERE FRESH WATER POOLS. THE STAFF WAS ABLE TO CONNECT US TO TOURS TO THE WATERFALLS AND CITY AND WE ALSO WENT ON A SNORKELING TOUR. THE FOOD AT THE HOTEL WAS INCREDIBLE--FRESH BAKED "PAN DULCE" CROSISANTS, AND OTHER TRADITIONAL BREADS EVERY MORNING. I WANT TO GO BACK EVERY MONTH.
