Thomas and Isabel have really worked to make their home inviting and beautiful by paying attention to all the little and big details. The room was spotless and comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated with art—even breakfast was a beautiful experience.

We stayed one night at Faile bed and breakfast on our way to the Hebrides. Everything about it was excellent; Thomas and Isabel had thought about every detail. In particular, the breakfasts were outstanding - easily good enough for a 5 star hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful guest house with welcoming and friendly host. Myself and my friend stayed in the twin room at the top of the house, the room and bathroom were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were wonderful. I really loved all the art work and as an avid reader loved looking at all the books which were available to borrow and also add to. If you are going to visit McCaig's Tower, do it from the guest house as you are already half way there! It is up quite a steep hill which would not suit everyone. It is very tranquil and peaceful and only a 10 minute walk to the town, a wee bit longer to walk back! I would certainly recommend this guest house.

Stayed just for one night with our adult daughter in two rooms. All very comfortable and clean. Rooms are not large but are better equipped than most hotel rooms. Only a few minutes walk downhill to town centre. Breakfast was lovely in the morning.

You won’t go far wrong booking this B&B Really clean and welcoming. Attention to detail second to none - the breakfast was outstanding, better than most 4 or 5 star hotels I have visited. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again when I revisit. Great quality and incredibly friendly.

Was received by Thomas, who helped me with my luggage. The room is space and with a great view. Got a bottle of fresh water and a little bottle of milk, so I could make me a “nice-cup-of-tea”, as I needed to rest after many hours of travel. Breakfast this morning was plentiful and with a big variety to chose from. Thomas is the perfect host, and I give him my highest recommendations.

We were unable to make it to Oban due to road closures caused by flooding. We called and told them the issue and were forced to stop closer to Glasgow for the night. Failte denied us a refund. If I ever make it to Oban in the future I will surely not stay at Failte B&B.

Everything was perfect from the Host to the little "treat" by the bedside, from the cleanliness to the view, from the rich breakfast display to the smallest detail in the bedrooms. We loved it and if ever we are at that part of the world we will stay at Failte B&B again. Thank you!!

This BNB is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. Thomas went above and beyond to help us when we were having car troubles and suggested places to go visit and to eat. Oban is a great town and we enjoyed ourselves. The view of the town is really great.
