Three Arch Inn

Parking is very limited and we received no info on how/where to park. Arriving after dark in heavy fog made it a real challenge. Room was very nice. Comfy bed. Bathtub drained very slow and was very slice - use the provided bath mat ! TV is all streaming and was difficult to figure out what was included with the room. We finally gave up and just went to bed.

Room 2 was comfortable, there is a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. If you plan to stay on a Tuesday or Wednesday there is no where in the area to eat for breakfast. Blue Agate is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, even though Google says it opens at 9. Its not open. Bring snacks. We weren't able to enjoy our morning there because we didn't come prepared so we had to check out at 9:00 instead of being able to stay till check out time of noon. The view is obstructed by power lines.

This location is great. You have an amazing view of the beach. It’s a few short steps to the state beach with fine sand and a nice gentle slope. Amazing basalt columns in the ocean ( like Canon Beach but not crowded). Hotel itself has many comforts. A few funky things. We were in room 4 and the window with ocean view had a crack in it. Also the shower (rain shower head) wouldn’t stay elevated during shower so if you were tall you needed to duck. But clean, well appointed and comfy bed.

We loved this hotel! We stayed in room 4 I believe, at the top floor. It had a huge king bed and a sleeper sofa. The sofa was small though and only fit one kid. We used the pillows from the couch to make a 2nd bed on the floor :) It had a nice fridge and microwave. The view from this window is insane. So pretty. We could easily walk to the beach. The water wasn't even that cold compared to other spots along the coast where we went. The beach and tunnel to walk through are super unique. We bought food when we were in Tillamook to eat which was helpful. We enjoyed spending the afternoon and evening at the beach, then walking back down with a few drinks to watch the sunset. They aren't joking when they say there is no phone coverage here. Nothing at all. Which was kind of nice, but just FYI.

This inn was wonderful! This was our first stop in Oregon, and it did not disappoint. We were in room 3, The views from our room were unreal, and the beach across was cute and walkable. Overall the room was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed. It would be best for future travelers to bring snacks or dinner at the hotel as there was only one restaurant in town, and it has very limited hours. Parking was a bit confusing as we arrived when everything around us was closed, but we figured it out quickly!

We just returned from a 4 day, 3 night stay here for the last days of Spring Break. Our room, #4, was a studio on the top floor, which had a king-sized bed and a sleeper sofa. It also allowed pets, and provided special towels just for them, which was great with all of the sand that our sweet dog brought in with her. The view of the offshore Three Arches, from the room's two story windows was amazing. And in the morning, the smell of bacon from the Current Cafe below us on the first floor, was almost criminal :) It did have a microwave, small fridge & drip coffee maker though, which was good because there are only 3 food options in Oceanside, proper: The Current Cafe (open from 8am to 6pm); Roseanna's Cafe (open Thurs-Sun from 3pm to 8pm) and the Blue Agate Cafe (open 9am to 2pm). The bathroom had a wonderful jacuzzi tub and an attached shower with a large rain shower head. So nice! And they provided shampoo, conditioner & body wash in dispensers, in case you forgot yours. Check-in & out were contact-less, which was helpful with the pandemic still lingering. Less than ideal, however, was the room entry system. The doors had numeric keypads, and after the reservation was confirmed, a unique 10-digit code was emailed to us. Then each time you wanted to get into the room, you had to enter this code, followed by the # sign. Not great if you've got your hands full, or are wrangling a leash. And it wasn't until we were most of the way through our stay, that we noticed the sign near the door that said you could create your own code by following the instructions listed there... Some things that we thought could be improved upon: 1) There's no place to eat at in the room. With the dog, we were pretty much limited to take-out, and even a couple of TV trays or a small card table would have been great to set stuff on. 2) With the smart TV, fridge, microwave, A/C heating unit, router & lamps, there were no free outlets. We ended up having to unplug one of the two lamps in order to use our chargers. Of note: they do have several USB ports available, but our devices were a different kind than they had. And with the one lamp unplugged, and no overhead lighting due to the vaulted ceilings, it was a little dark at night. Overall though, this was a great place to stay while exploring the Tillamook area! Also be sure to check out Tunnel Beach and Short Beach to search for Agates. Tunnel Beach is within walking distance from the Inn, and Short Beach is just a quick drive up Hwy 131 (Cape Loop).

We had a great stay at this property. Hosts were there to answer questions and we'd love to go back sometime! Great views right from the room and very comfortable even if you have pets. Plan on some ready-to-eat food or coffee/ tea in case businesses around are closed when you get there. Overall, highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here one night on our drive down the Oregon coast. The view did not disappoint! Easy walk across the street to the beach. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and nicely appointed. Definitely recommend.
