We stayed here for 1 night in April whilst travelling between Billund and Copenhagen. Location Firstly we had purposely chosen to stay in the apartments as they were the best option for a family of 4. The location was very good, 10/15 minute walk from the central train station and only a few minutes from shops, restaurants and a nearby tram stop. Our only real issue with the apartments were the directions to get there. You have to check in at the city hotel which is not actually that far from the apartments but the directions we received were terrible, even when calling back up the additional directions did not help. When asked if there was a sign at the apartments the answer was no. Luckily we managed to ask some locals who just happened to know what we were talking about and we able to help us out. So clearer directions or a bit of a map would be useful. It’s the building opposite RecordPusher and the entrance is on the other side on the Nedergade. Room We were in apartment 252. The apartment was a spacious corner room and was well equipped. It could have done with a few touch ups here and there, particularly the bathroom and it did sound like some of the walls were quite thin, you could definitely hear quite a lot but it was still very good for what we needed. Just a word of warning there did not seem to be any working lights once in the apartment building and the steps were quite steep. Breakfast Breakfast was in the city hotel and despite being quite a small it had everything you could want from cereal to cold and cooked meats, pancakes etc and we could not fault it. Would definitely recommend if you were looking to stay in Odense. Just make sure you know where you are going!
