Do not book this hotel I did and when I turned up was told it had been sold and i should have been emailed. It was late and was told to go and find another hotel The staff were vile and were not interested in helping me I hope Ibis remove their franchise

I have to admit that our stay was a real mixture of poor and decent. The positives were: free parking, the variety of hot and cold breakfast options, a decent sized room, which was very clean, lovely modern lobby area, and the staff. Sadly, there were too many negatives which affected our stay. These were: the walls are very, very thin, and twice during the night, we were disturbed by other guests chatting in the corridor. We could also hear chat and toilet usage from rooms two doors away! Yikes! Sadly, this led to an awful night's sleep. Our neighbour could be heard shouting at these noisy guests to keep quiet on two separate occasions. The area surrounding the hotel is very noisy, with roads and motorway connections very close by. Yobs shouting, and messing around outside could be heard far too frequently, and we weren't completely convinced that our car would be safe. It's such a shame as the lobby area is chic, modern and stylish, and the staff very nice, but overall, it was a very disappointing stay.

I would strongly advise against using this despicable hotel. I booked a room for two on 20/07/2023 for a two day stay on 20/09/2023. When we arrived at the hotel car park a staff member came out and informed us that the hotel was closed and that I had been informed of this and had been refunded. I hadn’t been informed or received a refund. After arguing with her and demanding a refund, I realised I was getting nowhere and had to go and find somewhere else to stay quickly as the staff member I was arguing with was just grinning and smirking at me. This two day trip was supposed to be for my wife and I to attend my son’s wedding, Ibis destroyed our once in a lifetime opportunity….Absolutely gutted

Absolutely fuming with the staff on duty early hours of this morning (Friday 8th September) Made a booking yesterday and paid up front for one of my engineers who would be working into the small hours and needed somewhere close to get his head down before driving again. Check out time was not until midday so would have given him a solid 7-8 hours but when he arrived in the early hours of this morning, the very rude and unhelpful person on duty refused to check him in. We are now £75 down (small problem) and an engineer has now had to drive to another hotel across Birmingham (bigger problem) who quite happily offered him a room at 5 a.m. Yes we are now another £50 down, but at least he is safe and resting now. There is absolutely no reason to refuse check in to a room that is booked and paid for regardless of the time if you are staffed 24/7. Disgusted.

(unhappy reason being there). this was right on the main motorway roundabout, so noise was expected. nice clean rooms. breakfast buffet was great, really good selection, fruit cocktail, pastries, all the usaul stuff for fry up, have to mention JAKE, well manuored young man was running round doing jobs, plus looking after bar. well done Jake

When we arrived the receptionist had to leave for an emergency, leaving the catering/housekeeping team to explain to waiting customers and arrange cover. They kept us informed and supplied us with drinks while we waited. Wayne arrived after a short wait and was very apologetic for the inconvenience. He checked us all in quickly and efficiently. We found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and the room well layed out. Complimentary breakfast had plenty of choice. I cannot praise the staff enough especially Shannon who was very knowledgeable of the area and adviced us of best way to travel to Birmingham. Of course Wayne who had to come in on his day off and cope with the customers that had been waiting to check in and Anj, who I believe is the owner, who came to cover staff shortages. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, which we probably will in the near future.
