Olympos Hotel

I arrived just after 10pm. The hotel looked lovely with lights on the blue tiled pool. Long journey so thought they hotel would provide a sandwich or quick bite. Nothing to eat at all at the hotel. A half hearted offer of some chips from the man behind the bar who also acted as receptionist. Was told the supermarket or a place to eat was over the road. Went to supermarket. Paid extra for room overlooking pool. Room basic. Smallest TV in the universe. No English programmes. Now listening to iPhone podcast. Wi-Fi ok so far. Made cup of tea. No milk or sugar provided. Good I’d bought some milk at the supermarket. Then to unpack and hang clothes. No hangers. Had to find man behind the bar to bring some. Hung up the clothes. No shelves in wardrobe. Time to brush teeth and shower. Water glass. Uuurgh. Bits of mould at bottom. Slimy shower tray. Mould round edges. Toilet not the cleanest … a bit of a pong A cool evening so needed a blanket. Asked the man behind the bar to bring me a spare one. Getting to know the man behind the bar quite well. Mosquitoes on ceiling. Used a slightly grey hand towel to swat them. It feels bit grim.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The team are so friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, everything that you need is on your doorstep. The rooms are spotless with a great shower and comfortable beds. Very well stocked bar and great breakfast. The restaurant has tasty lunch and dinner options too. The pool is perfect if you want a nice quiet relaxing day. We also met some lovely people who we now call friends. I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return next year. Big shout out to Ash the owner who goes above and beyond to ensure that all of his guests have an amazing experience.

The hotel was really great bearing in mind its a budget level. The bedrooms are big and cleaned daily with good amenities. The staff (H & M) were outstanding - they were so attentive and friendly. They called you by your name from the moment you arrived, and both worked really hard to look after all guests. We had a particularly awkward female guest this week, and the staff (and other guests) took a lot of verbal abuse and physical aggression from her. She moaned about pretty much everything, and kept making insulting comments, butting into private conversations and blaming things on Allah, which was outrageous to have to listen to. I see she has put a review calling this hotel the ‘worst in Turkey’. She is certainly the worst British guest you could encounter in Turkey! The lounge, bar, poolside and reception were all immaculately kept, and comfortable. The only thing that needs attention was my shower/shower surround, which was leaking so the floor got overly wet. Otherwise I think the hotel is a little gem in a great location tucked away from the resort main road yet only a few minutes walk away. I would not hesitate to return and will recommend it to my friends.

This is the WORST hotel if you can call it in that I have ever stayed in. I arrived to a dirty room, no pillow cases for the pillows, and a dirty stained cushion on the bed. As I arrived at about 4.30am there was no one to sort it out. The shower tray was mouldy, the shower was broken and is way too high up to reach properly to put on the hook which was broken and fell off, nearly hitting me on the head. I reported it and the staff member just laughed. Also the shower doesn't point downwards so when it's on it basically floods the whole bathroom, which is then a slip hazard. On top of that the toilet was stained and the sink had a massive crack in it. The staff don't seem to care or want to help and there is no receptionist. I've never stayed in such a run down and dirty place before and the food is very basic too and the drinks are only a basic selection. It's meant to be a 3* hotel but it's certainly not 3* by anyone's standards. It's more lile a -1*! It's spoilt my holiday and I have decided to leave a week early. Now I'm trying to get a refund for the second week upgrade and they only offered me £50 compensation which they still haven't paid and I don't think they will. If you visit Turkey do NOT stay at this hotel. It is truly awful.

brilliant place great food lovely staff as are all turkish peoples x Its also handy for the beach the nature reserve is wonderful the whole place is a delight not to be missed Try the kebabs mmm with hot little chills they're wonderful

Fantastic family run friendly hotel. The hotel is used by Go Singles and independent travellers. I was an independent traveller and the rep from Go Singles included me and 2 friends in their activities and meals, she was really friendly and knowledgeable about the area. (Her dog was so cute too) Sam the barman was really nice and made everyone feel welcome. I loved the Raki too. The owners Ash and Honey were also very friendly and Ash loved to party 😁. The room were spacious with aircon and fridge, cleaning was done everyday, the rooms bar and pool area was very clean. Hanbo who served drinks and served food was very friendly, his English improved dramatically by the end of my 2 weeks and Pinar the cook made delicious food thank you I have booked to go again in September. There is so much to do in the area, can't wait to go back
