Montana Pine Resort - All Inclusive

Return visit to this wonderful place. End of October was a lovely quiet time to visit after last Summer’s first adventure there. The place was exactly the same. The staff this year were great, the bar staff super friendly. It’s a long season for them, but very much still want to help and make the holiday great.

The hotel complex is situated in a marvellous place and also an area adorned with trees and flowers it is a magnificent place with bird chirping and exquisite sunrise and sunset views. It is also very closely situated to beautifull beaches of mediterrenean coast.

The old Rustic hotel is half way up a hill and about 10 minutes drive away from the beach, shops and restaurants in Fethiye, and Olu Deniz. The hotel comprises a number of rustic condominiums scattered around the main building, reception and restaurant. The staff were reasonably attentive and polite. Being a family enterprise, the staff were nit to the standard of modern 4 or five star hotels. For example we arrived at midnight by private transfer, and were made to walk up a long steep slope (145 strides) away to reception dragging our bags behind us. This would definitely not suit an elderly person, or one with mobility issues. The room did not have any towels and despite our requests we did not receive towels till the next afternoon The food was passable. the coffee was very disappointing and the juices at breakfast were sickly sweet concoctions. Our biggest issue was being fobbed off every day when we were trying to get a late checkout as we had a 10 pm flight. We even offered to pay for an extra day. On the day of departure we were finally informed that it was not their policy. We were expecting a glitzy, efficient and yummy holiday experience for the price, and the Montana did not give us that. We will certainly not be returning.

Visited for a week towards the end of September, and possibly my most tranquil holidaying experience. The mountain location lent itself to the most peaceful of visits, and it was serene to have a morning coffee amongst nature, with birdsong all around. It is difficult to find fault here, so I won't, and I find the discontent towards the food baffling, as we found it plentiful and varied, special praise to the morning omelette, salad and Turkish flatbreads cooked as you wait. A must for travellers is the cable-car up the Babadag, and hotels own yacht trip, of which it's limited numbers and privacy meant it trumped all other boat trips commenced by some considerable margin. Special mention to the groundstaff, who work tirelessly morning, noon and night to maintain the beautiful grounds, flora and foliage. Please keep up the good work.

Just got back from a weeks stay at Montana Pine & thought I’d leave an honest review. Overall we had a positive experience. The location is fantastic, the views are breathtaking and being up in the mountains you get a lovely breeze. It was also easy enough to go into Hisaranou and Olu Deniz in a taxi which fast and cheap. The rooms were pretty basic and could certainly do with an upgrade but they were spotlessly clean and at the end of the day you’re not really there to spend time in your room. The staff were also amazing and without exception everyone we encountered couldn’t do enough to help you. I’d seen a lot of comments about the food which made me worried however I shouldn’t have been concerned. We found the selection to be very good and there was always something decent to eat. Plenty of choices of protein and a great selection of other things that we found very tasty. We were less impressed with the drinks. The wine was very drinkable as was the beer (draft Effes) only slight moan is that it was only served in half pints and I do love a pint. The cocktails were of a very poor standard mostly all sickly sweet and pretty weak. I’m pretty sure that when researching they had espresso martini and Long Island iced tea but these two were sadly missing. We found ourselves going out most nights in search of a pint and a drinkable cocktail. The nightly entertainment was what I’d imagine you’d find at Butlins and definitely not our thing but that’s down to personal taste but it might appeal to some. The sunset bar was nice and offer the best views in the resort. Annoyingly it was closed one night because of a wedding, great for the wedding party not so great for the rest of the hotel guests. So overall we enjoyed our stay. Is this place a four star hotel ? No it’s a good three star. Would we come back ? Yes we probably would.

Just got back from our second visit to Montana pine as a family group of 6. We love this hotel so much - the hotel itself has the most stunning grounds and back drop. But the real gem is the staff! The most lovely friendly welcoming and kind people work here - a special shout out to Eymen and Cengiz in the restaurant and all the pool bar staff including Gian and Nurullah! They always had our drinks topped up and we loved the ‘chefs special’ drinks by the pool! These guys really deserve the recognition as our holiday would not have been anywhere near as good without them.. Rooms were always kept clean and tidy and we liked being in block 19 as nice and quiet in mornings and evenings but a bit of a walk! Lots of amazing wildlife - wild boars from our window, tortoises, kittens etc.. Food was ok for us and I think you’d be ok if you aren’t fussy and willing to try something new but we did like to eat the occasional meal out as 10 days can become repetitive The Turkish night fell on Victory Day and was FANTASTIC- best night of the whole holiday - everyone loved it - the whole set up including the food was fantastic -wish it could have been like this every night! Short drive to Hisaronu (welcome Barracuda restaurant for amazing food) and OluDeniz - although beware of the taxi drivers as they are not very good/safe so strap in! Despite it being the summer holidays we were able to get loungers around the pool around 8.30am every morning - no sun bed wars which was nice and lower ‘dolphin’ pool had free loungers throughout the day All in all a great stay!
