Antas Deluxe Apartments

We booked Antas apartments as my daughter was getting married in Turkey there were around 25 family staying at Antas apartments. We arrived during the night so with a young child very tired. on being shown to the room the smell was disgusting the toilet was leaking over the bathroom floor after complaining about this for 10 days it was finally repaired! The apartment was dirty, we left our keys at reception on numerous occasions and the room was still not cleaned, clean towels were difficult to get hold of, Jimmy who run the bar was lovely he tried to help us as much as possible but he couldn’t do much as he only run the bar. The pool was nice but there is no entertainment whatsoever and no music playing around the pool, you could get very basic food from bar like cheesy chips or sandwich there were no crisps or snacks you could buy for children. When going to reception to speak to someone about things we weren’t happy about there was not always someone who could speak English so they couldn’t help also the reception was very often unattended, Antas also offers you a place to leave your bags when you have to leave your rooms on your last day this safe place is on reception by the side of a road anyone has access to this. The decor in the rooms and hallways is very poor and there is a lot of damage to the inside of buildings there was also mould present in numerous rooms and having a young child with asthma this did not help. The electric light switch In the room was hanging of the wall with wires hanging out of it all in all this was a very disappointing holiday and this is something we had been all looking forward to so much as so many family came, we spent a lot more money than we needed to as had to pay for taxis to family’s accommodation to get showers and to get ready for the wedding as we felt so dirty getting out the shower in toilet water. We booked through jet2 and made a complaint as we were so upset and dissatisfied after waiting several weeks for them to reply they offered us a free meal and choice of seats on our next flight we book with them! My family Have been using jet2 for years very poor customer service. If you’re thinking about booking Antas Apartments please read the reviews first as we would hate people to book here and have a holiday like us. I would also like to say there were numerous people staying at the time as us who the majority had issues and said they would not return back to Antas again a real shame as the location is perfect.

10 days family holiday and we've had a fabulous stay & would definitely return & recommend to family & friends. Pool area is smaller than what we are used to but it's very tidy, clean and my children ages 6 & 13 love it plus no sunbed wars & enough umbrellas. Inflatables/ balls are allowed. Bar by the pool has a top personal service, amazing cocktails by Jimmy & plenty of variety of other drinks, free pool table & table tennis. Big bbq area by the pool and the owners will do you a bbq tea if you ask. Other foods also available reasonably priced. Rooms are a bit dated but spacious for 4 people, we had 1 x double & 1 x single pullout sofas in lounge plus bedroom beds (2singles together) all comfortable with well working air con. Kitchen is well equipped with hob & kettle. Nice balcony area, ours was overlooking the pool on 2nd floor. Good size bathroom with powerful shower. House keeping available just ask. 10_15 min walk downhill to Hisaronu. We got taxi back. Can catch the bus to fethiye or Oludeniz from outside oasis bar which is a 5 min walk from Antas. Some gorgeous restaurants in Ovacik too, these are another 10_15 min walk. Weve not had one bad meal whilst here & all of the restaurants have had great service especially Sunrise restaurant with the best service ever, most tastiest food & will play any football game for you. Supermarket is 10 min walk. Jeep safari was a fun family day, it was a long day out but so worth the money £50 4 people Would definitely recommend this. It has been a perfect stay, hopefully return. Thanks to all the staff for your hard work and looking after us we've made some perfect memories ❤️

The family that own/work here are what make it special as they really try their best to accommodate you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you to Jimmy, Charley, little Ali and everyone else for making us feel so welcome. Yes, the apartments are dated and our 1 bedroom apartment was particularly small, but that is reflected in the price and when there is a nice pool area and you are surrounded by beautiful scenery it doesn't really matter. I was relieved to be situated higher up in Ovacik and surrounded by trees as that brought a welcome breeze and cooler air during the hot, humid days. It is a 15/20 minute walk down to Hisaronu and taxis were just 150 lira if you didn't fancy walking. The bar was always open and they allow you to pay your tab whenever suits you. I did think 350 lira for a burger was a bit expensive though so we chose to eat out most of the time, but their food was nice. We only got our room cleaned once during our 1 week stay as we were late risers but whenever we asked for clean towels, they were delivered promptly. The ping pong and pool table were well utilised doing our stay and overall we loved the relaxed 'laissez faire' vibe of these apartments, although sometimes the 'banging' of doors was annoying, but that was due to young children and thin walls. Great find, if you want somewhere chilled to stay that is not expensive but close to Old Deniz and Hisaronu.
