Gondwana Etosha Safari Lodge

Отель не оправдал ожиданий. За 3 недели путешествия самый дорогой отель. Номера на двоих маленькие, холодильника нет. Вид из балкона печальный. Смотрите на стену из маленьких деревьев. Нам поменяли без доплат на семейный номер. Они большие, находятся ближе к ресторану и вид соответственно не на лес, а как бы выше, т.к. ресторан и главный корпус находится на возвышенности. Чем дальше номер от ресторана, тем домик ниже и вид никакой. Мы ходили в бассейн у ресторана, вода теплая. Брали ужин 500 нам.дол на человека. Ужин шведский стол без напитков. На ужине очень темно, лампы, стоящие на столе очень туслые. Не видишь, что ты ешь. Ужин вкусный, но все равно для Намибии очень дорогой.

This review serves as a character or personal reference for Miss Emily Otto who is currently employed by Gondwana Collection Namibia. It was at Etosha Safari Lodge on Sunday, 31 August 2025, whilst on an overnight excursion, that I first made her acquaintance. Emily Otto waited at our table, looking after us and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Emily’s enthusiasm and warmth were some of the first qualities which impressed. I found her to be very affable! Her service and interpersonal skills; backed by an individual approach to each table she helped served, are impeccable (of a very high standard). She is warm in her dealings with customers and is outstanding at people and situation reading (strong observational skills and a deep understanding of people’s emotions and intentions). The latter was also reflected in her handling and organising the staff and music band to serenade me on my birthday on Sunday. It takes some skill to make serenading look special and personal as I can imagine they must be doing this quite often. Overall; a fantastic evening with great food and great waitressing to say nothing of the music band! Etosha Safari Lodge, you can be proud of your staff in general – they are skilled in their jobs and eager to please. There is a strong bond between them which, as you know, builds camaraderie in this demanding profession. Thank you and all the best for continued success in the Gondwana Collection group. Bungalows were well appointed and generous in size. Bed very comfortable with own outdoor sitting area and bathroom well set with plenty of room. Room also had a sofa which added to the comfort. Food was fresh and the on demand cooking of several game meats, seafood and stir fries gave plenty of options. Location was handy to the park. Small things detracted slightly including no soap in the rooms any of the night we stayed (odd at this price point). Be more than happy to stay again.

Nice establishment. Worthwhile visiting. Chalets are situated on a mountain with stunning views over the savanna bush. The food is excellent and pool facilities are impressive and the service of the staff is great. Beautiful destination to make daily trips to Etosha

The place was best for ever , there's kind professional workers, they are friendly, helpful,and like making jokes with people.

Etosha safari lodge is clean with nice lodges which are slightly dated but absolutely fine. The main reception area is good with an excellent viewing station bar looking over a very small watering hole where we saw a few zebra, Duiker, and warthog with a nice cold reasonably priced beer. The buffet was the only slightly disappointing downside. Good quality was ok but nothing special for the relatively expensive price? We were placed one evening in the hallway and had to argue to be moved not the main dining area. It’s only a few minutes from the Anderson Gate so is very convenient for the park. Overall would recommend.
