What a wonderful place. Staff are warm, friendly, engaging, caring, helpful. Meals are out of this world (but they still owe me the recipe for the Mahangu Salad. Rooms are exceptional!

This place was superb. Apart from the brilliant accommodation in individual huts that had everything we could need, the staff were so friendly and keen for us to learn about te community. We loved the tour of the place where the foundation offers valuable courses to enable people to gain skills to help them get work or set up their own business. We enjoyed learning about the pottery, the cooking and the agriculture. Excellent all round!

Very pleasant stay at Ongula lodge after a long day of travel. The place is unique, clean and the staff pays attention to details to ensure you have a good experience. Also, the food is delicious! Thank you to Ongula's staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

We stayed 1 night at Ongula Homestead between Opuwo and Etosho. Everything was handled with much love and attention. We took the tour to see all the activities of the homestead. At night we were served a traditional dinner, which was very nice on a long table with the other guests, like one big family. We recommnend staying here.

We had a very nice stay at Ongula. The people were very friendly and we had a tasty dinner only for the two of us in a great surrounding. We made the homestead tour and it was a great experience. The guides were very competent and showed and taught us a lot. We can recommend the homestead very much!

We stayed in the Campsite. We could use a bathroom in the bungalow for hot shower and the toilet. The stuff was very friendly and gave us all the information about the education they doing (guied, agraculture, ...). If we had stayed longer or arrived a bit earlyer they would showed us all around. Thanks a lot!

The place and especially the hosts are exceptional. We stayed on the campsite. Everything was very clean. The entire facility is very stylishly designed and furnished. We were received very friendly and hope that many more guests will find their way there, even though this part of Namibia is a bit off the beaten tourist track.

The visit of the village and the various activities with the local community is an enormous plus. We really enjoyed learning about the schools and about daily life and skills of the local people, this made our journey much richer. The place is also beautifully kept, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. We also were impressed by the local kids and teenagers who welcomed us as well.
