Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa recensioner

We stayed for two nights, the first night was okay, we ate at the teppanyaki restaurant, which was good and the kids had fun talking to the friendly chef. Then second day there was tsunami alert, all sea activities were cancelled, we checked some indoor kids activities as alternative, but all have to pay, and not cheap. Thank god the swimming pool is open at least something for the kids to do. The second night I couldn’t sleep at all, as there is a big croackroach crawling around our bedside table I was so scared it will crawl to us when we sleep. We went during summer peak time, couldn’t believe I paid high price to go somewhere that I need to watch for croakroach all night. Restaurant booking system is stressful too, we did not have time to eat breakfast, there is a long queue at 7am something already.

It was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely want to revisit again. We were in a rush to catch a morning flight and the staff managed to get us in for a quick breakfast before we left the hotel, much appreciated.

Perfect place for family and kids. Nice outdoor swimming pools.

This is the second time to stay with this hotel in 2 years. Location: 8/10 The hotel is located in the middle of Okinawa Island in Onna area. It takes around 50-55 mins drive from Naha airport. Some local restaurants and Lawson can be found around 5-10 walk around hotel. Nothing wrong with the location as we selected it. Service: 10/10 Booked the club lounge access with the express check in and snack time during the day. No words to describe its service as the smiles are everywhere and always be welcomed by everyone in the hotel. To highlight one thing that we needed a screwdriver to open a small cover of my son’s toy, the team was so good to fine one for me which I do not think a hotel needs to help me for a request like that. Facilities: 9/10 The outdoor swimming pools were closed due to the weather. A nice place for family vacation and kids love this place a lot. Happy swimming experiences and water fun.

Beautiful room breakfast is normal noting special service was ok but not too good

Here is perfect Resort in Okinawa Island. Very nice service and atmophere. However it costs as much as they serve. Nevertheless here is really wonderful

One hour drive from Naha airport. Has its own private beach but the public beach nearby is nicer - if you have your own snorkelling gear you will be able to see fishes and starfish and coral reef. The food in the resort is expensive but that’s expected. Not a lot of other food options outside the resort - the soba place outside the resort is nice but closes as soon as they sell out.

There's nothing to do. There's nothing around. The room I booked is much larger but it's even further from the sea. The receptionist said that all the larger room types are on the side closer to the road and the exhaust fans in those rooms have been blowing all night, making a very noisy sound. The room type doesn't match the photos provided. In fact, it's not close to the sea at all.

We booked the Ocean Front View King Room w/ Club Access for 2 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Major positives were: modern rooms/facilities, massive room size, decent sound insulation, we liked the pools/sunbeds (particularly the sea water pool on a nice day). We highly recommend taking Club Access; that was one of the highlights of out stay; was nice to have breakfast in peace and the food quality was on point w/ good range (we saw the buffet breakfasts were overcrowded and had major waiting times). Club Access gives you access to Orion draft beer throughout the afternoon which we enjoyed at the lunge balcony. Also, pretty much a dinner during the evening in the lounge. It was such a nice stay that we felt like we didn't have to/want to leave the premise. Nice product! Minor negatives were the beach; particularly not being able to venture out beyond the restricted line. We felt some of the staff were undertrained. The wine and champagne in the lounge is very low quality; we stuck to draft beer and spirits.

I booked two connecting rooms for a four-night stay, having also stayed at this hotel last year. Unfortunately, this visit was a noticeable step down. For a five-star property, the service fell short in several areas. Check-in was slow, with only 1–3 front desk staff and a wait of over 10 minutes before anyone assisted us. Dining was inefficient—meals took too long, breakfast lines were constant, and utensils were not properly cleaned. On checkout day, I requested a bell cart, which was confirmed but never arrived. Follow-up calls to the front desk went unanswered, and there was no staff available to help with our bags. The checkout process itself was long and poorly managed. This experience was disappointing compared to last year. I hope the hotel takes steps to return to the standard it once upheld.

Amazing resort hotel. I stayed there for three nights and i am so glad that I have chosen it for my first time visit to Okinawa. I really love the swimming pool and the private beach of the hotel. Their infinity pool even is filled with sea water! Breakfast is also awesome. I like the great amount of vegetables options. I hope they can offer more variety of protein such as chicken dish. There is no freshly made juice which is also a letdown. The room is perfect in all areas. Bedding super comfortable and the air con is quiet. I think the ventilation of the bathroom is the only issue.

Went to this hotel with another family so we had two young kids. Surpassed expectations with the amazing private pool and beach facilities. Camp Hyatt for kids was also a nice touch!
