Amazing Hospitality, Booked deluxe standard room quite spacious, clean and washrooms were also neat and clean. Overall had an great stay vacation at The Hosteller😊Loved the Stay arena at Elk hills😍 Amazing view over night and early morning mist❄️

I had booked the best private room available for 4 days, I left the property within 2 days. The experience was that bad. Second morning of our stay, they started doing some work on the roof at 6AM, which is basically a tin roof and the noise was so loud, there was no way we could go back to sleep. The property is extremely small and has nothing much to offer, except one small common area where maximum 8 people could sit at one time. The room was extremely small and super depressing. Both early mornings were loud and noisy. Even the people living in dorms shared their experience as horrible with us. I'm not sure how this property has 4.2 stars rating. They don't even have a pantry where one can heat their food. The water in the filter was empty by 10 am itself the day we left. The staff is polite and that is the only thing scoring a 1 star from me. At the same price, I got an exceptionally better property. I've been to hosteller at other location, seems like not much attention is given to the one in Ooty

The stay was nice. The rate is much higher than expected for a dormitory. Overall experience was good.

The hosteller has a peaceful and positive vibe all about it. The stay was comfortable, room was cozy, clean bathroom with all facilities. The room has a fireplace too availabe if an extra amount is paid. Hot water is available. The common rooms are great too, as well as the courtyard. Campfire facility was provided. Food is not available and has to be ordered from out. Also, i feel the cost is quite on the higher side. Overall it was a good stay.
