This is not a hotel or resort, better call this hostel since after meal you have to place your plate in nearby tub, upon asking for water rather then delivering they guide you to water-cooler. The staff is rude and unprofessional, they don’t know H of Hospitality. We asked for extra blanket and they delivered some cleaning clothe (pic attached), though when we reached to reception the changed and told that new staff delivered by mistake. I booked the hotel for 2 nights but checked out after staying one night only knowing that I won’t get refund. I still thank that they didn’t ask us to clean our plates after meals and gave food though we didn’t order between their strict set time. They denied my Tea order by saying that kitchen is busy.

In the name of amenities they provide an intercom which was not working or even if it is working nobody picks up your call. For drinking water they provide only one steel glass for the whole family. Housekeeping is totally absent. Service was deplorable. While checking out the behaviour of the staff was rude. They refused to help me with the luggage while I was drenching in the rain. While the food was good, I noticed one strange thing (though I am not complaining). Guests had to pick up their own plates and put it in the bin. I am very thankful to them that at least they didn't ask us to wash our plates . Apart from the manager all the staff were rude and uncivil. While we were having breakfast in the dining hall they were shouting and quarreling in the kitchen. Rooms don't have room heaters or blowers which should have been the norm in a hill station. As plastic is banned in Nilgiri district, they provide only one steel glass for the whole family which is inadequate. TV doesn't work. Wifi doesn't work either. Housekeeping was totally absent. When I requested one of the staff to take out the dustbin he said it is the job of the housekeeping staff. Though they are in the hospitality business their service was unprofessional, unwelcoming, inadequate.

The worst ever experience of a stay of my life. Hopeless is a very decent word for this stay and the manager. Started off with the worst room allotted inspite of booking the room one week before. When questioned about cleanliness in the most decent way, the so called manager balasubramanyam straight up asked us to leave and would refund the money. After reminding him of how indecent his behavior was, he agreed to give a spare room half an hour later. Then comes the most stinky untidy rooms, leaking washroom surfaces with dirty water, no power backup ,geysers don’t function, especially when it is 14C cold outside. Power wasn’t there half of the time, no water during night, the food is just never served on time. Overall, if there’s a word more pathetic than the word pathetic.. it’s that to describe this so called 3- star hotel. Just don’t add this hotel in your services so that your name won’t be ruined.

Untidy rooms, unclean surrounding, unhygienic breakfast room. Worst experience ever. Manager was rude and got angry on my parents without any reason. This hotel has no right to be in the business. Tourism ministry should take note of this and act.

Very clean, fabulous rooms, Excellent property and great Hospitality, Enjoyed the stay. Tasty food and very well maintained, location of the property is reachable to many scenic places. Over all had a very good experiece

Walked into a room full of mildew. Not sure when it was last used. Sheets and bedding have hairs on them, walls have huge cracks. We are just here for a nights sleep and nothing more, thankfully. Not a 3 star hotel, not worth the money (we paid Rs. 4100 for the 4 person room with two king beds). No toiletries and the young guy at the front desk couldn’t even be bothered to give us some toilet paper. Hot water was nonexistent, even after letting the water run for 30 minutes as suggested by the manager. Ice cold showers with an outside temp of 11 Celsius makes for torture. On the plus side, check in was nonexistent and took literally one minute. Manager is a nice guy caught in a tough situation; he does his best but the facilities are just too run down. Breakfast is S. Indian and fine. I suggest you take your money elsewhere; there are hundreds of hotels that are likely better and closer to the center of town. You will be paying for a taxi to take you the the heart of Ooty to shop and dine anyway. Yes, that’s a big old rat in that picture, saw him outside the room next to ours on the way to breakfast, appetizing!

RooM Tarrif is OK ***** with complimentary food, Room service is very poor In Dining Hall, they will prepare during the Breakfast time so that we should all wait for long time to get our needs. WORST tea and coffee will be provided. They will charge extra for the Breakfast provided for the cab drivers.

A fair stay at this fair stay. Super climate and good environment. Awesome rooms and bathrooms are also too good. Food is nice to eat. Service also good. Nice hotel to stay. This hotel is surrounded by an amazing nature.
