Oppdal is a quaint & charming little town. Our stay at Quality Hotel Skifer was a great refuge for a few hours, as we had to catch the early train in the morning. The beds were super cozy and comfy, toilet and room were very clean, and we had a lovely view of the mountain. Breakfast spread in the morning was akin to a five star! Well stocked and decent range of good items!
I’m not sure who helped me with arranging the late check-in over the phone (a lovely lady!), but just wanted to say thank you for accommodating it! We were really able to get quality rest and reset our journey with a fresh mind!

First if you have in menu salad as main dish it shouldnt be bag of salat from rema with 2 extra tomatos on top cost more than pizza. One of waitresses were there totally unfriendly, apart of that we were there with person who was injured and when we asked to seat on the sofa there was 100% but no one were seating there for whole time we had our meal. Room part there was someone playing music each morning between 6-7 and I had to go to reception to make it stop. Also air-condition didnt work it was impossible to sleep with closed window but it is pretty loud area outside then is hard to get any sleep in the hotel what I find to be big minus of the hotel.

This hotel has a noisy location with goods trains rumbling past all night. Perhaps a room on the other side of the hotel might have been better. We were put in the room furthest away from the list - or actually furthest away from the stair well as the single lift was broken. The 'midsummer party' buffet was good value.

We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. They had a vegan option and amazing food! We did not stay here but were impressed by the staff and overall modern feel and will look into staying here for our next visit to Oppdal. They also have a nice lobby with a bar.

The hotel is 12 years old, but the standard is as good now as when it was new. Professional staff Very good breakfast and food in the restaurant. The hotel is located in the city centre, a short distance to shopping, restaurants and ski slopes

This is definitely a ski town hotel. Large, busy, slightly less personal than what we'd come to expect. However, the staff really were friendly and helpful. It was quite clean but not pristine. The smoke from the smokers three storys below wafted right into our room = not pleasant when we wanted to open the windows. The view was nice, of the big mound of a hill outside the town (which we hiked up).

This Hotel gives you the good feeling. Great service, great food, a breakfast buffet with all kinds of food! Nice and clean room. Walingdistance to everything in Oppdal sentrum. They Also have chargers for el-cars

The rooms are nice but the floor are not clean. For this price, 1700 nok prr night you do not expect to see old chewing tobacco bags behind the chairs in the lounge. The dinner staff vas amateur high school students, but the buffet for breakfast and dinner was very good, Even on floor 4 there was a lot of noise from the music bar in the lobby at 0030. There was aldo drunk people during dinner and party noise from some rooms at the 4th floor so better rent on airbnb or a cabin if you want sleep in the Easter holiday😀

Spent a few nights in the Hotel during October! I just wanted to Get away from the city and I had heard that this Hotel was great for workation. Enjoyed a very Nice breakfast, Nice dinners, the rooms were spacious as I had one of the superior rooms and the staff was friendly. I will come back the next time I decide to have a workation.
