Golden Rock Dive and Nature Resort

The Golden Rock Dive and Nature Resort on Sint Eustatius is, for us, the hidden gem of the Caribbean. We have rarely experienced such warm hospitality. The manager made sure we lacked nothing. At the Breeze restaurant (what an interior!), we were thoroughly spoiled, with vegetables fresh from the garden. And then our apartment: a stunning view, tasteful decor, and a blissful bathroom. Everything was more than spotlessly clean, with an abundance of luxurious towels. Additionally, the lush, architecturally designed tropical garden, covering about 20 hectares, was a true paradise. The vibrant flowers, along with colorful hummingbirds and butterflies, were a feast for the eyes. Although we're not divers, diving instructor Sjouke took us on a snorkeling tour, where we spotted turtles and even a 17th-century cannon.

We did a lot of research before choosing a place to stay in Statia and ultimately settled on Golden Rock Resort for its excellent reviews. We found very friendly, professional staff in the resort. Victor from the front desk was a great person.Hospitality runs in his DNA.He is kind and very professional.A great asset. Two swimming pools-humming bird and hibiscus great pools to relax and enjoy yourself.Although the beach is not accessible you have a lot of options and several games and activities. The gym is accessible throughout the day but who needs the gym on a holiday. The rooms are spacious and five star ammenities.

Great hotel, very kind and helpful personnel, rooms were perfect, receptionists also very polite professionals, cleanliness was beyond expectations!! I would definitely recommend it to everybody!

Came to St. Eustatius for a quick visit on this beautiful island, and connected with Victor at Golden Rock Resort. He totally made this trip awesome. Helped me coordinate a hike of the Quill, as well as an island tour to learn of its rich history. If you are coming to Statia, and staying at Golden Rock ask for Victor. Absolute best!

The resort is perfect and wonderful. According to me you need a bigger a/c unit. The room is too big for the present a/c unit. Furthermore there are almost no TV channels available. The reception is of the best. The food was good and we enjoyed every bit

If I say that this place is Paradise on earth, I am stating the truth! The Resort is Amazing , very ECO friendly, dedicated work loving staff, excellent Food. I am here for Diving and it’s been fantastic. There are plenty of wrecks and Reefs to Dive and what makes it special is the Dive team. I have dived in several countries but the Dive Instructors here provide support and make it SAFE ! They are simply the best. I have already done 8 divers. For nature lovers there is a Botanical Garden, in fact the Resort itself is one! Trekkers will find the Quill a place to trek and see the Flora and Fauna with stunning views. If you just want to Chill you don’t have to leave the Resort with the Spa.
