Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa

This is the best place to go for a relaxing vacation, on one of the best beaches in the world. The resort is very quiet with beautiful nature, hammocks, luxury beach seating that is always available, excellent food (NYC level). Not too crowded, no kids, staff is wonderful and even helped recover sunglasses that I forgot to retrieve on an excursion across the island, bringing them to me on the beach. 10/10!

Manchebo Beach and Resort is 5 stars all the way, from the moment we walked up to check in – the bellman grabbed our keys and got our bags from the car, then went to the bar and got us both Mojitos! The room was clean and had everything we needed including a small cooler to bring to the beach. The food at the various restaurants was delicious. We felt like VIPs with the staff remembering our drink preferences, remembering plans we told them and asking how it went, and just being silly with us. The beach area is huge with plenty of Palapas. We got an oceanfront spot every day and many of the palapas were empty. The beach is quiet and not crowded, there were times my we were the only ones in the water. Tuesday night they had a drink mixer with the managers, we had the pleasure of talking with Randall, Director of Guest Services. What a great guy! Gave some local tips and favorite restaurant suggestions. We opted to do half our stay at this resort and half at the Marriot Stellaris. Let me tell you, we checked into Marriot, it was so crowded and loud, I called to see about early check out and called Manchebo to see if we could come back the next day. We were booked, got there by 10 am and our room was ready. We spent the day at the beach and when we got back to our room there was a bottle of champagne and a note saying welcome back! Randall came out to greet us and welcome us back too. The pictures online do not due the property justice, trust me it is wonderful! We also had a 1-hour couples massage and it was only $200 for both, so reasonable for a resort. There is small shopping area in walking distance with a market and several eateries and a ******. If you are looking for an intimate upscale resort to unwind and relax this is the place! We will be back and this will be the only place we will ever stay.

This was our 2nd stay with the BEST resort in (my opinion) in Aruba. The staff is family to us and we certainly feel like family to them! They are so welcoming upon arrival! Michel knew we were arriving and was waiting with open arms for us to get off the airport shuttle bus! The entire staff remembered my mom and I from the previous year and again couldn’t do enough for us the entire 12 day stay! When I say staff, that includes EVERYONE who works there. They are friendly kind and warm loving people! The entire resort is spotless, they are always cleaning and power washing. I also love how they love each other, Jean and Fanny always hugging and laughing . It just makes you feel so good to see team members having a wonderful time working together! I gave hugs and received hugs everyday from Remick our go to guy for towels and pool chair set up and from the entire front desk and restaurant staff. Even for the team members who don’t speak English, they smile everyday and make you feel like this place is your home! I was traveling with my 85 year old mom and it’s the only place I feel comfortable bringing her, the resort was very accommodating with our room selection for her physical difficulties! I could go on and on with all positive comments but I will end with a big shout out to Andrew and Michel for always coming to say good morning to my mom and making sure she didn’t need anything! I have sent more compliments to Manchebo directly but for Trip Advisor I hope people are able to feel the love and warmth I feel while staying here 2 years in a row. I pray I can come back next year again with my beautiful mother!

This resort is so much nicer than staying at a high-rise hotel. Eagle Beach is much prettier and relaxing than Palm Beach. Most times it felt like we had the beach nearly to our selves. The rooms are luxurious. We had a room on the second level with an "ocean-view". The view is beautiful, but the actual ocean is significantly obstructed by trees and a big pavilion. The resort has six buildings with around 12 or 16 rooms in each building. The best ocean views are probably in the building that is furthest north. We did "all-inclusive" for 3 of the 6 days, and concluded that the benefits weren't as great as resorts that are exclusively all-inclusive. Ordering food and drinks felt cumbersome because we had to complete an invoice for every order, even though there was no additional charge. And I think a buffet for lunch and dinner works better for all-inclusive than ordering from a menu. Manchebo doesn't have a buffet. Plus, there are so many great dinner restaurants to experience outside the resort. We wished they offered an all-inclusive beverage-only package that allowed for getting drinks without an invoice each time. Or, even better: all-inclusive for breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, and beverages, and then explore outside for dinner. In any case, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Alejandra spent 30 minutes with me booking our excursions. She was great. The fitness center could be expanded. There are only 2 treadmills. I was always lucky to get one without waiting, but I noticed other people leaving after seeing both were taken. The daily yoga and palate sessions are a great perk.

As we were told, staying in Manchebo is like being in paradise, literally. Wonderful experience from the location to the food served by its restaurants. A true boutique resort, where intimacy is really preserved. The list of activities you can book at the front desk are countless, Manchebo people are always happy to help you. Best choice we would have ever made for our honeymoon (turtles hatch included ❤️)

We had an amazing time at the Manchebo. The staff was lovely at every turn. The food was delicious, especially at Ike’s for dinner. The beach is beautifully maintained - and we saw baby Leatherback turtles hatch! We had a great couples’ massage. And the location is terrific, not far from Oranjestad, and close to a number of great beaches and snorkel sites. Overall - it was a superb vacation. Will definitely return!!

The location of this property on Eagle Beach is the single best location of any resort on Aruba. The beach is absolutely amazing. Intimate resort with only 72 rooms. Excellent on property dining options. Generally kid free environment. Spa services were amazing. Not a party resort. 5 stars. Would absolutely recommend for any couple looking to visit Aruba. Perfect place to relax and recharge on one of the world's best beaches. Cannot say enough about the soft coral sands and crystal blue waters of Eagle Beach.

We will definitely come back in the future, mostly because of the relaxation we got with the accommodation and service on the beach. The room was to our liking as it was a pleasure to stay in (it didn't feel like it was just for sleeping).
