We stayed in a “tiny home” at the resort. The home itself was like new and very clean. Plenty of space for our 4 person family which includes 2 teenagers. The resort is casual with a very helpful and friendly staff. Our time here couldn’t have been better, and I give my highest recommendation.

Amazing place for a family trip! Wish we’d had more time to use all the amenities. Beautiful property, great food and hospitality. Love that’s it’s a longstanding local family business. Super affordable compared to staying in Springdale. We loved our cabin and didn’t mind walking to the communal bathroom to get a better rate. Lots of showers.

The resort is nice. Great amenities. The restaurant food is not great. Breakfast burrito had ham in it. The ham had a strange color. The biscuits and gravy were cold. The service was great however. The food is premade and just reheated, so bring your own food if possible.

This place is a real gem. We initially booked a cabin for one night, but liked it so much, that we spontaneously decided to stay another night. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Great deals are available when travelling off the local peak season. During our two-week journey across the U.S. with our two kids, we stayed in many different places, and Zion Ponderosa Ranch was undoubtedly one of the best.

I stayed 4 nights with my family in the cabin suites. I'm glad we stayed but I would stay in Springdale Utah the next time. I was aware of the commute time between the park and this resort and really didn't mind it but Springdale would be more convenient. At this price point I did not feel the rooms were clean enough. Pool was great, the kids loved it. Staff were great. The biggest advantage would be the peace of this resort vs the bustle of the lodge or Springdale. I felt like more experiences should be included in the price rather than additional.

Resort is well maintained with plenty to do for kids and adults. Stayed in a tiny home with 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. These accommodations were better than we expected. Large exterior deck had a gas grille and outdoor fire table. Common area pool was not usually very crowded and was very clean. Basketball court was just okay but a very good nice to have. Volleyball and tennis were both great. Pond was being redone. Goats roam the property which was a hit. Mini golf above average. Food at main restaurant above average, especially breakfast and dessert. Cell coverage was pretty spotty but property wifi was good. I'd suggest stocking up on food as there are no grocery stores close by. Would be nice to have some cleaning spray for counter tops and tables but not available. Should also supply coffee filters but they do not. Customer service is very good here. Just text and they respond right away. It's way off the nearby conveniences but makes up for it with amenities and activities.

Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our stay in our tiny home. The pool was fantastic for my young boys. The canyoneering trip with Sam and Nathan was just the right length with the perfect amount of instruction and freedom. The tiny home was stocked with all the utensils and pans we needed. I was even able to make my daughter a birthday cake. The wood-fired pizzas were delicious. Access to Observation Point (Mesa Trail) was easy to access. It was nice to be close to Zion, but not too close to the chaos.

Made reservations same day. Was warned power was out. Got to resort had a pizza since wood fired oven was working. Got to cabin (trashed) no housekeeping. Was about ready to leave and management put us up in a new mini house. They made a great attempt and we appreciated it very much! This house was clean. But slider failed to lock and it looked like someone tried to fix multiple times but did not know how. Got a piece of wood to jamb door (which was better in my book) Batteries dead in one a/c unit remote, two dead batteries in overhead bed lights…I finally gave up because I did not want front desk believing I was complaining too much so we just went on. First night I asked how reliable internet was (I should’ve never asked) front desk said it was very reliable no issues. I asked because I had a remote job interview scheduled the next morning….and behold I get home from a long day out and guess what? No Internet service and they have no idea when it was going to be restored. I lost the opportunity for the job interview. But I wasn’t that excited about it. If you come here, be well prepared I’d suggest packing a generator and if you need to have Internet service, make sure you have a cell phone. Also pack some extra food because you don’t know when the power is gonna go out. Went to dinner a second time, but they were taking cash because the Internet failed. The menus wouldn’t work. The credit card machine wouldn’t work and we had to pay cash which wasn’t really a big deal but just disappointing not the resorts fault but just a multitude of issues.
