Plantation Island

The resort may be showing some age, the staff makes a difference. Shout out to Steve in Maintenance and Joann Activity Director. All staff were friendly and very helpful. The courtyard is beautiful and adds to the charm of the resort.Would diffently stay again.

We had a nice time. This is a small, older 2 BR, 2 bath unit, with a sleeper. Though it has 2 bedrooms, there is really only 1 decent one, so it's better for couples or families with a small child or 2. It sits at the beach with 2 big glass picture windows - nice! The kitchen is very tiny, but the unit was very clean. The front desk people, especially Jennifer, were great. Our disappointment was that we were told only 5 days prior to arrival that there would be concrete renovation the entire week. It was loud, but we found things to do off site during the day. Water pressure and temperature were great.

We bought at this resort in 2020 and have been very disappointed. Poor parking, no bonus time availability and requests for time are never satisfactory. Rooms are out of date, needing upgrades. Outside windows viewing ocean are always dirty. This week we decided after no parking it is time to get rid of our unit. They are charging almost +1800 to sell back.

Great location on the beach with great view from floor to ceiling windows. One window opens for fresh air and hearing the ocean. 2 fast elevators in tower. Very clean. No problems parking. 2 pools, one is cold and the original pool which was part of the Biltmore estate is warmer. 3 small separate hot tubs. Plenty of lounge chairs. Need new BBQ grills. Kitchen is small but has oven, stove top, dishwasher, large refrig. Good wifi and 2 TVs. Towel exchange 8:30a-12p. Enjoy watching vehicles drive on the beach. IHop is across the street, and mall is 2 blocks away. Entire staff is so friendly. Will definitely come back!

We ame to Ormond Beach fro Tampa for a week on the beach. It was rainy and very windy almost the entire time. The rooms at the resort provided plenty of room to relX, read books, play games, etc. The resort's age is evident but there is a lot of major work happening on the property. The rooms were clean and quiet. During the worst part of the storms we had a major leak around the double doors to our unit. The office sent maintenance but the only thing he could do was to put additional towels to help sop it up. The staff made up for what age has done to the property. Evrryone was very friendly and helpful. The office people made check in and out a breeze. The activity coordinator did a nice job of trying to keep thing going even though most people just stayed in their room to avoid the weather.

Not an attractive place. Very small reception area with one seat. Older part of the building where I stayed has no elevator. Staircase has very dirty carpet, door, doorknob and tables. Unit floor uneven and creeks and the tables are worn and scratched
