Orton Hall is a 17th Century Jacobean Manor House carefully converted into self-catering suites sharing a Great Hall and six acres of gardens with lawns, fountain and woodlands. The one-bedroom Royalist Suite on the ground floor is full of period charm with a fully oak-panelled living room, imposing fireplace and a "secret door" through the bookcase to the rest of the apartment. The Royalist Suite can accommodate two in the bedroom in a king-size bed with space for a cot to sleep a baby or toddler. Comfortable folding beds are available for up to 2 extra guests in the living room. The bathroom is separate to the bedroom with WC, bath with shower over & sink. The kitchen has a cooker with hob, grill and oven, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and full complement of cooking equipment and utensils. In the living room there is a large TV with BT Vision and DVD player together with an extensive library of books & DVDs, sofa seating for 4 and a dining table in the bay window. The Royalist Suite is fully self-catering apartment but you will find a complimentary starter supply of coffee, tea, milk, sugar & biscuits. The suite is also stocked with consumables including washing up liquid, hand wash, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, tinfoil, toilet rolls, salt & pepper & cooking oil.
