The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan recensioner

Love the convenience and comfort of this hotel. We had a great room with a view of USJ. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Made our stay and experience a joy.

I recently stayed at the Park Front Hotel with my 12-year-old son for three days and two nights while visiting Universal Studios Japan. The location is fantastic—right across from the park, making it incredibly convenient. The surrounding area features a mall with a variety of dining options and vibrant nightlife, so you won't get lost. While the hotel has an older, classic design, it’s clean and offers spacious rooms for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it for families planning to visit USJ, as it saves you the hassle of long commutes after a tiring day at the theme park. The staff is friendly, though I didn’t have much interaction with them. The breakfast buffet is tasty with a good selection, but there are plenty of dining options nearby, including Tully's Cafe and McDonald's, so consider saving money by eating out instead. Overall, a solid choice for families, especially given the fair pricing for a comfortable stay!

I recently stayed at this hotel in Osaka and, while the property itself is commendable, I had a very disappointing experience with a front desk staff member named Sears. When I politely asked to borrow a pen to sign some paperwork, rather than assisting me in a courteous manner, she reacted with clear irritation, rolling her eyes and displaying a lack of professionalism. This behavior continued when I asked her a few questions, and it was evident that she had no intention of providing the friendly service one would expect from a hotel of this quality. It was disheartening to witness her treating not only myself but also other guests in a similar disrespectful manner during checkin. This experience significantly tarnished an otherwise enjoyable trip. I strongly urge management to address this issue as customer service should reflect the high standards of the hotel. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst front desk experiences I've encountered. I hope future guests do not have to deal with similar treatment.

If you want to go to USJ, this hotel with two entrances is the closest to USJ. And also is close to the universal city station. And you can take the Limousine bus to USJ as well. Tho, I booked 2 nights and wanted to break the receipt down per night, that's so difficult if you paid in advance with trip.com due to Singapore policy that cannot break the price down if you book multiple nights. There are also more taxes to pay at the hotel. I booked one more night, so the total is 3 nights and the tax to pay at the hotel is 1,000 yen. This room has a river view and seems to be cheaper than the USJ view. No cute slippers or anything for a New York type room.

I stayed here in 2017 and it was wonderful experience however this time in 2025 all the facilities seems to be exactly the same back in 2017 now just feels old and room wasn’t exactly tidy even abit dusty around the corners. Bathroom is clean. Breakfast wasn’t as nice as i remembered. Overall it’s good as you paid for the location and nice staff members.

Nearest hotel to usj. Lawson is directly downstairs . Only downside is the wifi is very unstable- cant stream shows. Else it will be full marks

Best location to visit Universal Studios. Super nice and fancy reception, rooms not at the same level of the lobby, but OK. I will definitively come back. My suggestion : Book a room with a view of the park ( We didn't and we are sorry about that)

Everything is perfect ! Wonderful checkout time at 12:00 is very supreme compare to ordinary Japan hotel.

The very good location right in front of USJ. ROOM IS big. Store are around and good of restaurants choices.

Just opposite to universal studios, 5 mins walk. Lots of restaurants- options for vegetarian food.

Excellent location if you're going to USJ a@@and you can't get any closer than this hotel! Great for families especially with young kids and elderly, so in any situations, kids / elderly can go back to the hotel with an easy walking distance.
