Meitetsu Inn Shinosakaeki Higashiguchi

Very clean and has all the amenities any single traveller requires. It’s a mixed of both tourists and business travellers. Very value for money and the space was way better than I had expected. The bed and pillow were excellent. Toilet design is the typical Japanese setup where it’s an entire plastic buildout to control the steam and water hence can be rather cramped but for a 5’11 person it’s more than enough. The functional amenities and even sleepwear provided were great. I look forward to staying in these chain of hotels again.

Stayed two nights and chosen for this location of being close to Shin-osaka station. Only 5 mins walk from the east entrance. Has a Lawsons convenience store.on the ground floor which is useful. Room we had was small but stayed in smaller on an APAnhotel. Although small, the room was practical with what space available very useable. Had 2 large suitcases and enough floor space to lie them and opened when packing. Room had enough plug sockets and even one USB socket by the side of the bed. TV even allowed you to access YouTube which a more upmarket hotel we stayed in during our Japan travels didn't have! Room was clean, hotel seems pretty modern and new. Bathroom typical Japanese hotel capsule style so bit cramped but functional. You pick up all the usual amenities lin the foyer near reception. One difference is that even though you have a kettle anc cups provided in the room, no actual coffee available - this is dispensed from a machine at reception. Chinese tea is available if ou ask reception. Bed and pillows comfy. All in all, great for our needs due to wanting to be close to the train station. Only negative, windows faced to wall of next building but at least you get natural light!
