Absolutely gorgeous. 5 days at wonderful Lupaia was a highlight of our trip. Morning walks in the crisp clean air to neighbouring towns followed by fabulous breakfast made from local fresh ingredients in the beautiful garden set every day up for success. The cooking class is a must, we had so much fun and the negroni sunset experience is a very special intimate evening watching the hilltop town of Montepulciano glow in the setting sun. The restaurant is superb with daily set menu of top quality seasonal flavours. The facility is a stunning old villa from 1622 and the amenities are all modern and 5 star. As amazing as the location and the place presents it is surpassed by the staff and the friendly service they provide. Nothing is any trouble at all and it was an absolute joy for us to spend time at Lupaia.

We stayed here for one night on our Tuscan road trip.This was heaven from start to finish.The staff couldn't do enough for us,the room was fabulous,the pool,the location and food absolutely outstanding.We could have stayed for longer.Christine was awesome and so helpful.Highly recommend.

This was our second visit to Lupaia and we had another unforgettable holiday. Just as wonderful second time around. In fact, even better! We received the warmest of welcomes and really felt like we were being greeted by old friends. Lupaia is stunningly beautiful in every respect - the property, the decor, the gardens, the food, the views, the pool. But the real sprinkling of magic comes from the team that elevate its beauty to even greater than its perfect individual parts. From the moment we arrived the warmth from the team was joyous. Big smiles all around! And that continued in spades throughout our stay including the fondest of farewells. The feeling in Lupaia is one of complete tranquility. It’s magical. It truly is a very special place and there’s absolutely no doubt that we will be back to Lupaia soon!

Absolutely lovely. The location, the views, the accommodations, the food, the service, the negronis - all five stars. The staff was amazing from our first inquiry through to our departure. The evening dinner was great. We ate at the hotel every night. Chef's Kiss! We took the pasta class with Chef Samuel - such an incredible experience and wonderful afternoon. And the Negronis..... I can not say enough wonderful things about Lupaia. Book it! You will not regret it.

Lupaia is an extraordinary hotel in every sense of the word: the location, the views, the rooms, the service, the food, and even the ever watchful Lupaia feline mascot, Olive, who charmed and endeared us during our several unforgettable days at Lupaia. We felt so fortunate to discover and experience a place like this, and we would be all the more lucky if we are ever able to return. If you have the chance to enjoy Lupaia, don't miss the opportunity—it's "once in a lifetime" in every way. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a marvelous place, and to Fabio and his team for making our stay so wonderful and memorable.

I feel a bit silly writing this so late. My husband and I stayed here last year during our honeymoon, and our first day of as magical! The food (breakfast, dinner) was unreal, the pool & hot tub overlooked a magical view, and the various nooks made privacy very real and possible. So many cute spots to drink an spritz and read a book. However, it’s the staff that is unbeatable. Early in the trip my husband was involved in a bike accident outside the hotel - Fabio went out of his way and spent his personal time to take us to the hospital. He & the staff made sure that we were taken care of for the rest of uthe stay - a doctor visited us, they helped us with room service, and I could tell every member of the staff had our back. I hope anyone reading this doesn’t face this, but rest assured this staff is unlike anything I’ve experienced, going above and beyond in every way. We dream of visiting one day again, so we can enjoy the magic we missed out on for the rest of the trip. I’ll never forget the people here!

We stayed here as part of a trip to Italy to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. If you are looking for a postcard picture setting with impeccable service, Lupaia is it. We wish we could have stayed longer as it was a perfect escape from the busier cities that we also visited. There's not a lot to add that hasn't already been said in previous reviews, so I won't repeat it all. From the moment we left, we haven't stopped talking about how peaceful and perfect this place was.

Absolutely amazing experience in all regards. Lupaia has a terrific location in southern Tuscan wine country, with great views of the town of Montepulciano. We had spectacular sunrises over Montepulciano greeting us from our suite terrace each morning. The property itself is beautiful. The pool and hot tub have nice views and were great places to have Negroni's delivered and enjoy the early evenings. The open kitchen restaurant made great meals in a cozy environment and at very reasonable cost. We took a cooking class during our stay - I highly recommend this, we had a fun time and cranked out impressively good food. Great location, great service, great property.

Lupaia was the most incredible experience! I cannot wait to go back! between the views, the rooms, the staff ( Silvio & Christine were wonderful! ) It felt like a long lost family! The food was incredible as well! And the wine pairings with dinner was perfection!
