Masseria Morrone

We only had a chance to stay there for one night, but I'd love to come back as soon as possible. 5 minute drive from Ostuni and you have to take a turn to the dirt road that goes through the oldest olive trees. After about 1.5 km we have found a building that was build looong time ago. I did get a quite surreal feeling of how it must have felt to live and work there back then. In other words the place has the vibe :) The room where we stayed matched the rest of the surroundings, but was very practical (fitted with everything you might possibly need), comfortable and very clean. As for 'Nonna' that greeted us at 9:30pm (!) I can only say that her hospitality was on the level I've never seen before. She even made breakfast for us at 5:30am (we had to leave very early) and when gave us a ton of sweets to go! During our trip we saw 3 agriturismo places. This one was the only one that matched and exceeded our expectations.

This is a very nice Masseria - the building is very well maintained and the staff were all very polite & helpful. The pool area is perfect for a break amongst the olive trees. Breakfast was also good. Yes, it is just 4 km from Ostuni but the driveway is also 2 km long My only complaint was that our bed was lumpy - not very comfortable

Come da titolo sembra perdersi nella natura. Per arrivare alla Masseria occorre percorrere una stradina sterrata per circa due chilometri lasciandosi alle spalle la strada statale e la "civiltà". In un paesaggio alle falde di una collina e circondato da uliveti secolari trova spazio la struttura ricettiva ricavata in una masseria con tipico cortile interno. Ben curata nei dettagli della ristrutturazione che restituisce l'atmosfera tipica della campagna rurale pugliese. L'accoglienza è cordiale e il personale gentile e attento. Le camere, ricavate nei vecchi locali a volta del piano terra sono arredate con gusto e semplicità. E' presente un terrazzo usufruibile dagli ospiti nel quale è servita la prima colazione. Non presente il ristorante ma spostandosi in paese è possibile avere una ricca scelta di locali per tutti i gusti. Valutazione sicuramente positiva complimenti per l'accoglienza.
