The town is largely a tourist town, I can't see many locals living here. Do your research: it was 1-2 hours drive to get to the activities we wanted (beach, canyoning, etc) - due to windy mountain roads on this part of Corsica. The local beach is stony, although the surrounding scenery ranks amongst the best on this gorgeous island. Hotel itself is clean, some rooms have balconies, the heated outdoor infinity pool is large and has a great mountain backdrop. Basic breakfast (croissants, yoghurt, cereal, cappuccino). Friendly staff, they even run an informal cab service which will save you some euro if you're heading back to the airport without a car. If you need reliable wifi, this isn't the place for you. Although free, it's not particularly fast, literally only works in the common areas, and frustratingly requires you to reconnect with a code each time you re-join the network. But you're in Corsica - who wants to spend all day online?!

Definitely one of the better hotels in Porto, with a fantastic pool with views of the forest and towards the beach to lounge by. The village centre is 5 min walk away, which is handy for breakfasts and dinners, while the beach is another 10min – on the other side of the river and marina. The service is very friendly, though do note that reception closes at 8pm. Wifi is free and the hotel offers a laundry service (which is handy for a long stay), but quite oddly for a 3 star hotel, there is a charge to use the fridge in the room – even if just to keep bottles of water chilled. There is limited (8) free hotel parking spaces, but the on-street parking is fortunately free in the evenings.

This hotel had a great location in Porto, not too far from the port and beach, as well as a lovely balcony with a great view. We didn't use the pool (as it was in the shade, and the beach was sunny in the afternoon), but it looked fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. Though, I felt that at 105 euros a night for a double in the off season, it was a bit overpriced for what it offered. Breakfast was lacking (1 croissant and 1 small bread, yogurt, apple sauce and coffee-- no fresh fruit, meats or cheeses), and at an additional 10 euros per person, our second morning we decided it wasn't worth it. I didn't need the staff to be overly friendly or helpful, as we had our two days planned and sorted, but it would have been nice to at least get a smile when we came in the reception area. Overall, if I were to stay in Porto again, I would seek another, more friendly hotel.

The location was good with swimming pool and beautiful views of the mountains. The room was spacious with a balcony. Furthermore, close to restaurants and bars. Breakfast €13 pp is on the pricey side. You can't eat here. The service and staff and Wifi was ok. Parking space in fromt of the hotel.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione molto privilegiata, a soli 200 metri dal paesino, ma rimane comunque in una zona molto tranquilla. Offre una vista sia sul mare che sulle montagne, che si trovano proprio di fronte. La piscina è molto bella e circondata dal verde. La camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato era di notevoli dimensioni (due locali), ma solo una delle camere era dotata di aria condizionata e finestra. C'è la possibilità di parcheggio gratuito, anche se i posti auto dell'hotel sono limitati. Tuttavia, ci sono diversi parcheggi a pagamento proprio di fronte all'hotel. La colazione ha un extra di 14 Euro a persona.

Hôtel parfait pour se ressourcer au milieu d'un paysage éblouissant. Le coup de coeur de nos vacances, nous y sommes restés 3 jours. Le bar au bord de la piscine, le jardin, la vue de la terrasse, la baignoire, le petit déjeuner et le personnel à nos petits soins, tout était au rendez vous pour des vacances réussies. Un endroit parfaitement adapté pour qui recherche le calme, le confort, et la proximité de Porto qui permet l'accès à la plage et aux restaurants et bars du port. Des chambres spacieuses et confortables (literie de qualité, un grand balcon, une chouette salle de bain), une très jolie piscine à débordement dans un jardin coloré et avec une vue superbe, un accueil très agréable ... Tout cela à un prix qui reste raisonnable en haute saison. Une bonne adresse à Porto.
