Loved our stay at Gabus. Friendly staff, food was delicious and the sunset horse Ride was one that we’ll never forget. The wildlife around the lodge is stunning. We would definitely recommend. One of our highlights of our trip!

This was our second visit, and once again, it was an incredible experience. The family-run lodge, conveniently located near Otavi, is the perfect place to relax and recharge on the way north. The food was outstanding, and the highlight—especially for our daughter—was the unforgettable horseback riding excursion. We can’t wait to return!

One of our best stops during our honeymoon trip. Loved feeling part of the family- the horse riding was amazing and the sunrise breakfast was one of the highlights of the trip. All of the staff are really welcoming and give a great insight into the running of the farm. The food was so tasty and the rooms overlooking the waterhole were so special. Thanks so much

We stayed at Gabus on around trip in Namibia for three nights and enjoyed ourselves a lot. We had opulent breakfasts, marvellous evening meals and (don´t forget to ask) delicious homemade cake in the aftenoons. It is a very beautiful lodge with very friendly and attentive staff and owners, beautiful rooms and a wonderful pool area.

We had a wonderful stay at Gabus Lodge. The place is very well maintained and tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable bedding, and offer a fantastic view of the waterhole, where you can admire many warthogs, oryx, impalas, and birds! We went on a night safari that allowed us to observe many giraffes, hyenas, baby bush animals, and many other species. The meals are delicious, and the wine list is extensive. We were particularly touched by Heinz's kindness, who took the time to explain the origin of the farm, his fascinating daily life, and his love for this region. My mother forgot a reading device in the room, and Harald kindly brought it back to us a few days later in Swakopmund. We are fully delighted with our stay and regret not being able to stay longer.

Far away from everything there is a nice ranch with all kinds of animals. Some of us went horse riding. A unique experience to explore wild life. The food and service was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Suggestion: rooms can be a bit more modernised.

WHAT YOU SEE, IS NOT WHAT YOU GET! On first glance, the four camping sites look just "normal', but what a surprise to have everything you need... and the best, is a beautiful, big bathroom for our exclusive use! Campers use all facilities at the lodge, wonderful meals under the stars and the most friendly, helpful staff! We WILL be back to stay longer and enjoy the adventures they offer!

A wonderful place to stay. Rooms comfortable and well appointed. Great outdoor spaces to relax. Wildlife good. Professionally run. Only the highest standards acceptable. Staff well trained and friendly. Cannot get better food anywhere in Namibia. Owners personally involved and friendly. Lots of activities to do. Stay two days! One night too short to experience all. A wonderful place on the way to the North to stop and relax.

We stayed 4 days at Gabus Game Lodge and it was a great time! The hosts and their entire team are very friendly, helpful and committed! We felt very welcome and almost like "at home". With a lot of love and professionalism, attention is paid to small details which make the difference and our stay perfect. The food is really excellent with local ingredients, which are prepared very professionally and presented in the form of an extensive buffet. Again, a lot of attention is paid to details and a visit of Gabus is a must from culinaric point of view. Many thanks to the hosts and the entire Gabus team for a great stay.
