La Terrazza Sul Mare

Because of the reviews we decided to stay at this hotel. The reviews are deceptively not true. The place is dirty the room given was nothing like the picture. Smelly room with mold, no towels.The A/C doesn’t work. Our room was extremely hot, 28 centigrade and after calling and sending emails to owner finally they showed up (there is no front desk service) they suggested to open the windows! We agreed to leave the access card inserted in the room to try to have an operating A/C and just take a door key with us hopping that by the time we returned A/C was working. It was exactly hot as before. Bed and linen is old and terrible. After arguing with owners they moved us to another room. The room was dirty with no A/C no towels only a floor mat and no keys to lock our selves in the room. Next to a restaurant dumpster. Was terrible!! We left on the middle of the night on the first night and slept inside our rental vehicle and checked in on another great hotel next door. Do not stay here! There is no pool, the pictures are not from this place. Be aware!! I’m still dealing with ******* for a refund

Do not stay here! We had to leave this place on the middle of the night! Dirty place, NO A/C no towels, smelly bathroom, everything was discussing. No front desk terrible customer service. I’m still trying to get a refund from this terrible place!! Stay away!!

Tranquility and charm are hard to find these days. Not so at La Terraza Sul Mare in Otranto, Puglia. Otranto, a seaside town is one of coastal Puglia’s gems and La Terraza Sul Mare, its crown jewel. Our room was a delight in marble. Our terrace overlooked a charming marina. The breakfast was a delight. And unlike many of Italy’s busy seaside communities, this place is quiet. The sea is marvelous with turquoise waters that put the Caribbean on notice. But what makes this B and B so special are its owners Salvatore and Anna and their house manager Virginia. They are not just innkeepers. They become your friends. This is a place worth visiting with its kind hosts whose dedication to excellence is supreme.

To Salvadore Anna and Verginia Thank you for opening up your BB to my crew and Myself . You gave us a home from home and your friendship . The whole pace is just so completely home that it’s going to be sad to say goodbye. The rooms are absolutely spotless and so comfortable. Your breakfast is eye opening and for sure the coffee machine will have a good rest I can recommend your BB as a top place for any travelers to come and make it a base. Next to a main road. No Sea views to speak of. New build outside the old town, next to a big parking spot, main road & just not very pleasant location. Price to value ratio is the worst of all places we stayed in Italy in the month long trip. Avoid!

Abbiamo alloggiato 3notti. La stanza era pulita e ordinata e il personale gentilissimo, educato e disponibile. Le due signore alle colazioni sono state molto carine e simpatiche. La struttura è comoda sia per il parcheggio adiacente che per la vicinanza al centro storico raggiungibile a piedi in 5minuti.
