La Kasbah d'Ouzoud

The place is great all place in the photo looks amazing but thus actually look better, the decoration, the garden, the room, the hall all in such a high standard. The room in the garden are big and have a "private" little space outside. The staff are great very polite and nice. The breakfast was good as well. The location is perfect to walk to the Waterfall and enjoy and relax in the garden with an amazing swimming pool.

I and a group of 5 others stopped by while doing the Monkey Run, to see Ouzoud Falls in the morning after. The team behind the desk were hard to push for any sort of discount so don't expect one yourself. However, the rooms are away from the hubbub of central Ouzoud, with spectacular views (especially from the roof deck), and a lovely pool to lounge by. It was absurdly cold to swim in though, which spoiled that somewhat, but no fault of the management, more just the time of year we were there! Dinner was an good individual Tagine of chicken and vegetables, similar to what I experienced in other parts of the Atlas mountains. We chose not to worry about starters or dessert, so your mileage may vary based upon whether you have that or not. They lit a fire for us afterwards and we sat in the common room, which was an excellent experience. We chose the bungalows for our stay, three to a room. The water is hot and consistent which was important after some cold days, the rooms are climatized and the beds were perfect for me (which is to say, a little harder than some like it, your mileage may vary). Breakfast was the highlight with pancakes, omlettes, fruit, yoghurts and plenty of bread. They did charge us extra for bottled water, so beware of that on your bill. However, the entire group were very seriously contemplating staying another day at the Riad and doing the push to Marrakech all of one day rather than getting halfway there. I think that says it all, really.

We loved this luxurious little resort with a garden pool surrounded by mountain views. Staff were gracious and attentive.

Walking distance to the waterfalls. Nice plants in the garden; good to walk around. Restaurant is pretty good; breakfast is included. We got there late in the night after long travel our mountain roads. They were nice to serve as pizzas in the restaurant.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour son charme et son emplacement. L accueil laisse à désirer, le responsable de l hotel est antipathique, hautain, fourbe et mesquin. Nous sommes arrivés le soir vers 18h, nous étions 5 personnes, nous avions regardés le prix sur Bouking et il nous annonce un autre montant !!! Après négociation, nous obtenons le prix que nous souhaitions avec petit déjeuner compris. mais ne payons pas de suite. Il demande si nous mangeons là ce soir, sur le moment nous disons oui, mais vu sa façon désagréable de nous parler nous changeons d avis. Il c est passé 10mn entre notre oui et notre non. Je passe devant la réception , le responsable m'a aborder et me dis: pourquoi vous ne mangez pas ici ? Je lui réponds que nous allons profiter d une balade au village pour dîner. Nous passons une nuit dans les bingalows. Rien à dire sur la propriété Les lendemain matin nous prenons le petit-déjeuner, nous attendons un long moment avant d'être servi. Serveur très agréable. Je sors de la salle de restauration, ma famille déjeune encore, le responsable et un autre homme se mettent devant moi et il me dit: il faut payer. Je lui répond que nous allons sortir nos valises des bingalows et que je viens le voir pour lui remettre les clés et payer. Il surveillait tous mes fait et gestes. ( sachant qu'au Maroc ils récupèrent nos identités à l arrivée ) Voiture chargée nous nous rendons à l accueil pour régler et là, le responsable m annonce un prix complètement différent de ce que nous avions convenu la veille. Je demande des explications et avec son air antipathique il me répond que nous n avons pas dîner à l hôtel et donc que le prix de la nuit est plus cher. Je lui réponds que je n'ai pas pris une pension complète et que je mange ou je veux !!! Après une longue discussion, nous arrivons à convenir d'un prix. L'hôtel est magnifique mais le responsable ne correspond pas à la qualité du service

Séjour parfait ! Tout était splendide. Personnel très agréable, accueillant et disponible! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! La piscine et le jardin sont exceptionnels, l'intérieur également! La plus belle étape de notre roadtrip en famille!
