I like location because it close to Mt. Rainier National Park . Staff was very helpful and friendly .

Rustic 80’s decor and cabin level of cleanliness. Bathroom and bedding were clean. But the chipped paint and other things that were in dire need of replacing or repair, felt like you’d stepped back in time. No elevator donors are second story, you are carrying those bags up the steps. WIFI was in and out, mostly out. Unless you sat by the office. The tv went out and cable never came back. I kept waiting for Belushi and Aykroyd to pop in. This hotel is all about location. Proximity to Mount Ranier National Park.

Large well equipped room with good lighting. staff were friendly and helpful. No breakfast available and was quite expensive. Nearest food outlets were 10 minutes away in Packwood. Being close to Mount Rainier and little choice of accommodation hence high price.

we stayed in the sixlet ! TV channels were a bit hard to get but the new restaurant a block away provided a good breakfast and lunch ! close to the town of Packwood with a food store and other restaurants and shops but far enough away to have peace and quiet and beautiful scenery !

We enjoyed our stay. The desk clerk at check in was very friendly and helpful. Location is a little remote and there is no cell phone service but is conveniently located to town (short 5 minute drive) and to Mt. Rainier NP. We stayed in room 5 with 2 double beds and our only complaint was the musty smell in the room that we could not seem to get rid of, otherwise we had a good stay.

Close to Mt. Rainier. Room was a decent size. Check in was quick and eff efficient. Nice to have micro/ fridge. Bathroom had a tub/shower and was fairly large. Bed was cozy and comfortable. Parking was right outside the room. Only negative was hearing trucks drive by during the night. NOT ALL NIGHT THOUGH. Maybe a room with no window onto the road could be quieter.

After staying at 2 other Frank properties booked Packwood. When arrived just before dark power was out as was the whole town, not Lodges’s fault. There was no place to eat because of power outage and we were starving so moved on to next town after being told we would be issued credit when power was restored. When credit card bill came in, no credit. When called told by nice hotel manager that owner of Frank Hotels which has several properties in Washington and Oregon would not allow credit to any of us and there were several. Other Frank properties we stayed in were clean but about what you would expect for the area. The Methow River Lodge another Frank property had no office personnel. Never answered phone, only register online. Key in envelope taped to office door. If something didn’t work like TV you are just screwed. So beware of any Frank properties.

This is a very lovely Inn. We had a very comfortable stay at a very reasonable cost. We would highly recommend Packwood Lodge to anyone coming to the Mt Rainier area. We had a turret room in one of the towers with a King Bed and plenty of space. The little town doesn't have a lot of eating options, and we were there off-season. Be sure to check with Mt Rainier Park open and closed dates before you go. The Paradise Inn and Visior Centers were both closed. The Fall colors were amazing in the Park and on all of the highways.

I was supposed to stay for three nights, but on my last day, the electricity went off at 4pm. I was told that it happens often in Packwood and usually comes back in 2 hours. I waited the two hours and when it didn't come back on I decided to leave because I didn't want to sit in the dark with no lights or wifi service. When I called to get a refund the next day for the one night, I was told they would not issue one. This is terrible customer service and if the electricity goes out often, it isn't a good place to stay because the Packwood Lodge won't do the honorable thing.
