A Resort in close proximity to Colombo city situated atop a small mountain surrounded by a natural forest. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is tasty. A small swimming pool and a jungle trekking available for relaxation. Beautiful view of distant mountains available from rooms. Staff members are courteous. Recommend this place for relaxing with friends or family.

We went to Kithul Kanda Resort for a family dinner. My wife's family live only 15 minutes away from this beautiful resort. The road up to the hotel is quite terrifying but when you are at the top it is stunning. We had the open air restaurant to ourselves. We ordered our food and in all honesty had to wait about an hour for the first plates to arrive at our table, but I have to say it was so worth the wait. Creamy chicken soup was amazing. All dishes cooked fresh. Fried rice and Nasi Goreng were fantastic. I had the Sri Lankan curry and the dishes kept coming. The food was wonderful, very reasonably priced and the setting out of this world. Very friendly and attentive staff. We were introduced to the chef who is only 19 yrs old. That young man really knows how to cook. This place is a must visit, wonderful views, great staff and the food is impeccable.

One of the worst hotels ever. Infested with rats and cockroaches and the service was really ridiculous. If you ask housekeeping to do a routine you'll be lucky if you would get it by next week.. . The worst experience was F & B which was utterly horrendous and was nothing better than local street cuisine. . . The only reason we went there was because they allowed our pet dog to be kept in our room. For whatever reason Please DO NOT VISIT this place again

My recent stay at Kithul Kanda was fantastic! Welcoming staff, clean and spacious rooms, and great amenities. The location of Kithul Kanda couldn't have been better; it was conveniently situated near all the major attractions, making it easy to immerse myself in the local culture. Whether it was indulging in delicious cuisine or simply taking in the breathtaking views, every moment was unforgettable. Perfect for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Padukka!

This is really a good place for a day out which is not far from colombo. The view & surrounding is cool that can't imagine we are not far from city. Especially the pool location is just a wow. Buffet was good at the price.

Located on the top of a mountain where you’ll get a 360 view of the surrounding area. The environment could have been relaxing but there was sound coming from a nearby temple from the time we checked in, until the next day. And it wasn’t a Poya day or a Sunday. They didn’t stop even during the night. Staff is very active and supportive, especially the guy at the restaurant. Food is good. And had many options to choose from. They only provide two small bottles of water for the room and extra would be charged. Pool is nice and has a great view. But it seems to get very crowded during the day. This place seems to be popular for day outings and the pool doesn't look clean at the end of the day. Room is nice and spacious. Make sure to request a room with a view. Washrooms are nice and clean. The drive to the location is very steep but they manage the traffic very well.

Last weekend a few friends decided to visit this unique resort and we had a lovely experience. The resort is accessed within a very short period from Colombo ( less than 1 hour) and the unique setting, amazing landscapes and lovely natural scenarios of the location is amazing, The service is also very good and amenities of the hotel are also value for money.

One of the best sites I had ever visited. The surroundings offer an opportunity to really relax. Both pools are clean. Service at the restaurant was very good too, and the food was delicious. The only complaint was the three flights of steps to the restaurant, but they increased the hunger.
