Stayed in the Mecure but used the dry spa in the Ibis. I cannot recommend Mel enough, she was so friendly and gave the best massage I’ve ever had. She picked up straight away where my back injury was. She gave great recommendations for places to go this evening & the treatment was finished off with some free skin care to take home! My back massage ended with a head massage and it was immense, I’m already looking at when I can return for another one! Thank you Mel :)

First off I would like to thank Jason Parry for changing our booking that was made through a third party when my husband was rushed to hospital the day before our visit. A couple of weeks later than we planned we stayed for three nights. What a fabulous location, near to all the attractions, bars and restaurants with a fabulous view of the coast from Torquay to Brixham. Check in was quick and friendly and we were allocated room 319 a premium room overlooking the front. The room was large clean, comfortable with good air con (a little noisy). Great to have a safe to store our keys etc. breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold items - sausage and bacon were very tasty. We are early risers so it was quiet when we went down. All the staff that we had contact with ate a credit to themselves and the brand - so friendly and helpful and we had lots of hints and tips to make the most of our trip. We didn’t have an evening meal at the hotel but we did have some late evening drinks which were reasonably priced. We had a fabulous couple of days and recommend the zoo via bus 22 for all ages. We will be back

A modern, clean and friendly waterfront hotel chain. Amazing value, booked through "Secret Escapes." A very pleasant and bright dining area with a nautical theme for a buffet breakfast with impressive choices. Our seaview double bedroom was perfect for a short break with a decent en suite. Ironing board and iron provided, plenty of storage. On the negative side, the architect didn't include balconies to fully benefit from the waterfront position and you cannot open the windows for fresh air. Curiously only one armchair provided in a room for two people. Surely you would expect two for the view? A second chair was graciously provided and delivered on request but oddly came as a surprise to reception. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Good nights sleep,comfy bed, quiet location, lovely sea view from room Only negative cant open windows to let fresh air in and pillows to poofy. We did have to ask to get the room cleaned, which wasnt a huge issue. Nice bar and restuarant. Had an amazing massage with hot stones by Mel.

Went to the spa for a treatment with the lovely Mel and had an amazing experience. The spa is recently refurbished and looks stunning, with tasteful decor and a very welcoming feeling. Mel is incredibly talented. I had an Indian head massage and she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Totally worth the trip and super reasonable pricing! If you are staying at the hotel or live in the area, you should definitely book a treatment!
