St Weonards

Really good little hotel ran by a fantastic couple. My son and I stayed 2 nights and we both got a great nights sleep. Nice little touch leaving the fan in the room for the heatwave as well as the honesty bar. Breakfast was first class with great selection

It was just a quick stop on our way to explore Cornwall, so only stayed ine night, the owners were very welcoming, the room was great and very comfortable. We did not hVe time to have breakfast unfortunately but it smelt great as we were leving. Great Central location

Small hotel situated in the town centre near bus and train stations and just off the promenade. An older property with bags of character combined with useful facilities such as the electric charging point on the small car park and offering a friendly welcome . Comfy bed and soft quality towels. Great breakfast with lots of options. Particularly appealing to families as they provide a bucket & spade 'library' for those days when a day at the beach is all you need. They also offer packed lunches and evening meals and the breakfast room can be utilised by families in the evenings with board games, an honesty bar and a large screen TV capable of receiving i-player for your favourite programmes. I was impressed with their Health and Safety features like the proximity lighting on the staircase and the In/Out board in the hallway to alert the owners of any guests on site in the event of fire. Top all of this off with charming friendly hosts - an excellent hotel.

We visit Paignton regularly with our pooch and first stayed here in April 2024 - we haven’t stayed anywhere else since. Vicky and Leigh are so welcoming and accommodating and it’s a home from home for us. The location is perfect and just a short walk to the town and beach. The rooms are always spotless, the linen always smells beautiful, the beds are comfy and the breakfast is top notch. They have truly thought of everything and we are always so well looked after. If you’re considering a stay in Paignton, don’t bother looking elsewhere, just book St Weonards!

I had an excellent experience at St.Weonards Hotel in Paignton, from personal prompt communication, a very warm welcome, immaculately clean bedroom & bathroom as well as the public areas. Very comfortable sleep and my breakfast was delicious, with my egg perfectly soft 10/10! I have travelled a lot and I can 100% recommend the St.Weonards Hotel.

The moment you arrive at St Weonard’s you are made to feel welcome. Our room was perfect; comfortable bed, lovely en-suite and plenty of towels. The breakfast choice is extensive and nothing is too much trouble. This was our second stay at this hotel and we will definitely be back!
