The husband and i booked a last minute break to Torbay Guesthouse and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. From the moment we arrived, the owners James and Christine along with their family welcomed us into their gorgeous B & B. Our room was bright, clean and so comfy. There was no noise from other guests and we enjoyed some of the best sleep we’ve both had in a long time. Breakfast here is definitely something to rave about, the cooked option was incredible and would recommend to every guest staying here it’s cooked to order but but must be booked the night before. There is also a great selection of cereal’s, breads, teas, coffees and juices are all available. Thanks again guys, we can’t wait to come back for longer ☺️

This place really is a home away from home and is ideally located to explore all the tourist hotspots and Torbay beach, which is just a few minutes’ walk away. The Rochesters all pitch in to give you an experience far beyond what you’d expect. The rooms are well-equipped and comfortable and the breakfasts, freshly-prepared, are top notch. I visited with my Ukrainian guest who had never been to Devon and the whole experience made her fall in love with the area. It’s a real gem of a guesthouse, run by wonderful people.

Visited for the second time in March, to this freshly renovated guesthouse. The owner are a fantastic couple who can't do enough for you, the rooms are comfortable, with excellent facilities. The breakfasts are delicious and freshly prepared to order, with a help yourself continental option as well. The location is fantastic as well - 2 mins from the beach. Couldn't wish for more... we'll definitely be back.

Jay and Christine are amazing hosts, and their attention to detail is first class. They have really turned this guset house around. An amazing breakfast, a warm, family enviroment and walking distance to the centre of Torbay. Will definitely be staying again.

Our stay at Torbay Guesthouse was amazing. Our ensuite room was bright and airy, with tea, coffee, biscuits and a fridge. James and Christine were incredible hosts, and serve a fab cooked breakfast and options for “help yourself” breakfast as well. They gave us great recommendations for local places to visit. We will definitely be staying again!

It was a pleasure to spend the weekend at this lovely guesthouse! The new owners, Jay and Christine, have clearly put a lot of effort into creating a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming space that perfectly complements the sea breeze and relaxed holiday atmosphere. The location is very close to the beach, as well as numerous restaurants, bars, parks, and attractions. There are also plenty of museums and other tourist sites nearby - the booklet stand was really helpful! A special shout-out to the delicious breakfasts, with a great variety of options and an easy pre-order system the night before. Definitely will be staying again and would highly recommend it! 🩵🌊⚓️

I had a wonderful long weekend at a beautifully modernized and updated guest house. The bed was comfortable, the rooms warm, and the hosts were attentive and lovely. I will definitely be returning. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and offered good value. Overall, it was a comfortable and friendly experience in a charming area.

Very comfortable and clean rooms. The landlord and landlady are absolutely lovely and very friendly. Delicious breakfast as well. Couldn't ask for more. We will be returning in March as a couple, and will come back later in the year with our family as well. Perfect place for a stopover on the way to Cornwall.
