The Denny House

We had a wonderful stay at the Denny House! Our host, Amy, waited to greet us, but we arrived later than expected. She was kind enough to leave a note with instructions for us on the front door. We stayed for three nights, and since it was during the week and cold and rainy, we had the whole house to ourselves! We stayed in the Miller room, which was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. There is a nice little electric fireplace that has a blower and we were plenty warm in the room. Amy was readily available with questions we had. She asked us what time we would like our breakfast in the morning and she arrived right on time! Not only did she cook us gourmet breakfasts every morning, but she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. As a native Kentuckian, she was able to provide us with information about the community and neighboring towns. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Denny House, but the best part of our stay was our precious host, Amy!

Stayed a couple of nights in the Miller's Station suite. Wonderful, including the great bathroom. Chatted with the owners and the manager. Great folks. Quiet place but not far from Richmond and Berea. Lexington is about 45 minutes away. Breakfast was awesome and plentiful. Friendly, helpful, informative. Would definitely stay again when we're in the area. (We might even go a little out of our way to stay again!)
