A hotel without internet, basic services like toilet kit, shaving kit and tea making kits. A Premium AC room costing Rs 2600 (thank GOD through a friend of mine who use to take their Board Room for Sales meet etc, I managed to get it at Rs 2500...!) has a double bed which is very small for two persons. When I checked in I was thinking whatever I needed was an internet connection and a space to have a good sleep. But internet was not available though it was connected. Then I thought to have a look though the window panes and sooth myself. The wall had a big curtain, but inside the curtain was two small windows with wooden frames....! The remaining area was just WALL!!! By around 2 am I woke up because the AC was not working properly. I had to paly a lot with the AC remote controller, but in vain. In the morning, I walked opposite to the Hotel to have my black Tea. Though an electric kettle was available in the room, there was no tea bag, sugar and milk sachet. There was a complimentary break fast. But unlike other hotels it was a la carte! You have limited items to chose, not with smaller items to start and then have juice and other beverages. After finishing the breakfast the caption placed a folder on the table, I said it is complimentary, no bill is required. Then he said, I know, let it be there! I opened to see that the folder was empty. It clearly implied that the waiter needed a TIP! The bathroom had a towel hanger, which was placed just opposite to the shower. I had my cloth placed on it completed wet after my bathe was over! If you pay just a few hundreds more, you can have a very comfortable stay in other hotels. The amount of fuel that we need to get our car parked in the narrow passage would cost much higher than the cost of taking an accommodation elsewhere. It is not pathetic but horrible!! It is good if you stay in some typical lodge rather than staying in Gazala by paying Rs 2600 for such an ordinary room,
