Hotel Vostra Llar

We used to work in the area and, on occasion, visited the restaurant when we could, and also stayed one night. We recently returned some 26 years later, and wow, our wonderful memories were surpassed by our experience. The room was wonderful, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Room spotlessly clean. Due to returning for my 50th birthday, we were presently surprised by a completely bottle of fizz. Wonderful view overlooking the courtyard, room had everything you could need. Powerful shower and the atmosphere was just perfect. Breakfast was so good, local produce, hot and cold options with fantastic scrambled eggs. Evening meal, we eat on both nights and the restaurant was full of locals , which speaks for itself. Very reasonably priced and fantastic food. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I can not rate this establishment high enough. For me, a very special place. I hope to return and would totally recommend it. Thank you to all at the Vostra Llar.

Still working at 82 and staying in too many hotels. The Vostar Llar is quite an exception. The outstanding features are the quality of service , the garden courtyard together with the separate bar area and breakfast room. All well furnished and maintained Our room overlooking the garden was spotless and thankfully a non slip shower and bathroom floor - so few hotels provide this essential feature. Facing west the small terrace with 2 chairs and a table enjoyed the hours of sunshine. There is no hotel car park, although free out of season car parks are within easy reach. Thursday night was quiet but then the local descended en masse for both meals, Saturday and Sunday - the incredible level of service never faltered. My single complaint is that the quality of the food did not live up to the rest of the 5 star rating. Cold plates, a tired sole and tasteless small fried fish. Alcohol prices are very reasonable and they make a fantastic Margarita. It is very rare for my wife and I to say that we will revisit, on this occasion, most certainly.

Two blocks from the beach and everything very easy to get to - very clean facilities and rooms and air conditioning worked very well - nice and quiet at night so I felt safe thank you

Called in for lunch whilst cruise ship docked in Palamos. From the street you enter a lovely courtyard garden shaded with trees and greenery.You can dine outside or in the air-conditioned rustic restaurant.We chose the 3 course menu of the day which included bread and wine, beer,soft drink or water, outstanding value at 15.25 euros per person for tasty freshly made food.There is also an a la carte menu with local fish/seafoood and rice dishes at reasonable prices.The service is quick and friendly, no wonder it was busy with locals and tourists on a Monday lunchtime.Highly recommended if you are in the area.

The location is excellent , rooms terrific , service exceptional . With the bar and its food , breakfast and restaurant all being PERFECTO !!! We stayed 2 nights and will be back to this gem of a place
